Good bargain buy
Havnt used it a yet only got it y,day.Looks OK, and strong enough. If it does the job it's intended for, then great! If it breaks, (which I hope it doesn't,) then it goes in the bin!!!. But for the price, it's a good buy and vfm.

Great product
Bought this to change my motorbike brakes. Seen a few reviews mentioning the Boeing of the 2 metal plates when under pressure. This did happen but did push the pistons back easily regardless so still worked 100%. Definitely a cost saver if you’re confident enough to do them your self.

Quality not great
Quality isn’t spectacular, became very loose after a couple of uses. Still does the job but I’m half expecting it to fall to pieces soon.

Cheap Front Brake Tool
Perfect for winding back pistons in front brakes during brake pad renewal. Retracts pistons in slow time to prevent flipping master cylinder seals and does it evenly to prevent damage to piston bores ; better than g-clamp/ large screwdriver method. The big plus is price cheaper than major retail outlets.

Save your money and buy a better product.
I had a single lower stiff car piston on a dual pot caliper. Piston was about 50mm dia. It was moving but very little and was catching the disk post braking. It was not siezed just very stiff. Covid car lockdown issue through lack of use driving to work. Started using this tool to force piston in. Had to use tool with one face on piston and other face behind caliper. This being due to caliper design and the way the tool opens/closes. Using tool inside caliper resulted in an uneveen distribution of force on only one side of piston. Intended to move piston in then apply brakes and work piston loose in housing very slowly bit by bit. First time of use the retaining nut on the rear of the operating shaft stripped threads and tool fell apart. The retaining thread is simply too thin to take the loads when being used for internal compression on anything other than a loose piston. Had to force retaining nut back on and then peen over the threaded end to retain the nut and make it work. Although I did manage to free the piston I never felt confident that tool would hold together. So during use I never really loaded the tool. Simple job to free up piston took ages and was a real pain. So if using inside caliper it might be okay. But if using outside of caliper on stiff piston it failed. Save your money and buy a performance/quality tool that works inside or outside of caliper. I have learned my lesson. Stop buying "cheap" tools.

Time saver
Part is a little large for some smaller motorbike calipers, usually rear calipers. Front Calipers seem to be ok. It can get wedged if you can not get on the piston squarely, but is easy enough to back off and start again. Great tool that will save time and effort.
