Great book, spent hours pouring over it

The art Genshin has associated with it is beautiful, so if that's what you love in an art book, then you're in luck! This is a collection of all of the promotional art for the different versions, the character portraits, and some stills from character teasers.However, in case you get bamboozled like me... this being advertised as having "character designs" is not fair. It's literally just each character's portrait (not wish art, just the character isolated). There are no design notes, concept art, etc. As a character designer myself who was excited to see the process of Hoyoverse's own designers, my disappointment is huge.But it is nice for "just an art book full of art everyone has seen already"... So I will at least give it 4 stars.

They have a short bio for each of the characters and their official artwork. This volume includes illustrations and character artwork up to the Liyue story arc. It comes with a dust cover and an outer plastic book protector. Can't wait for the next volume!

The media could not be loaded. It comes in a nice plastic cover and has quality paper. I collect other art books and this one happily joins them!The art is broken down into 3 sections. It has about 32 pages of character art with a quote and a little blurb about the character. That's followed by event art and other miscellaneous art thats split into 2 sections.This doesn't include all the art or characters currently in the game so I look forward to future art books in the same vein of character sheets followed by event art.I love seeing videos of art books on amazon, so I included my sad attempt to capture the book without showing too much. I hope it gives everyone a good idea of what to expect.
