This is the best cat toy I have ever gotten. My cats absolutely love this toy. It’s also very easy to control and get them very excited. It’s really great. When they hear the little bell they know it’s time to play. My cats love the flying feather cat toys. Those toys have two big problems. The string or cord gets knotted and my cats absolutely destroy them. My cats not only love this toy but it’s much more durable. It continues to flap and twirl after a decent amount of damage. The three feather design can just take more damage and the cats can’t chew the cord.

My cat absolutely loses his mind over these running around to point of exhaustion. I think the way the toy spins creating a twirling noise is what gets to him. However, they do break. Regardless, since my cat is so obsessed and goes crazy for this toy i will continue buying refills.

yeah, cats are picky. They love to play with us, and this is good toy to bond with your cat. Extra feather things make it last a long time.

Delivered today and also could not wait for me to take it out of the box! Once out he inspected it and was super happy. I always let him get acquainted with things before I move them or use them to play. Once I knew he liked this I started holding it above him so that he would get his engine going (as you can see in the video). After I finished the video he got more and more interested and excited. He followed me around the house as I was holding this new toy. We played for 20 minutes! And I had to put it away otherwise I would still be there probably 😂. Based on other reviews I made sure that when he “trapped” the bird he would not keep him for too long as I didn’t want him to destroy the feathers. He battled it, chased it, clawed it and the toy remained perfect. Let’s hope it lasts! If any complaints, I will update this review. Also, It has great bounce! I love how the way the feathers spin on their own when I just move the wand and Leo loves it too.

This cat wand is great, but the feathers fall off once played with too much. Our cat loves this wand and took all the feathers off. We put a different toy on the end that has worked better than the feathers. I like that it comes with replacements and that it is designed for a clasp like on a necklace so it can be exchanged. Love the wire and handle part.

I have these attached to a wand from another toy so they’re at the end of a string; I bought refills only and not the full toy. The toy flies beautifully, is easy to attach and control. At higher speeds it makes a soft whistling noise which is good for getting attention but the speed is unsafe for play. The propeller slows down quickly though so it would be hard to injure a cat, this is probably safer than other end-of-wand toys for that reason. This toy got my chonky cat up and running around which is awesome because she needs to lose weight. She chases other toys but not as long or as vigorously as she chases this. She follows it up and down the cat wall and around the house so there’s hope for her losing weight yet! She’s a huntress so when catches she secures it in her mouth and carries it to a spot that makes sense to her. This behavior eventually ends up bending or breaking a feather but that’s to be expected, and in fact I’m back to buy more. Chonky cat’s sister (same litter) also goes nuts for this toy; she chases it very aggressively. Even the senior cat (who’s a few years older than the sisters) will go after this toy which is surprising because there are very few toys that all three cats like. Get this toy and play with your cats, just keep in mind that it’s made, in part, of feathers which are fragile. I get a few days to a week out of one propeller which is totally worth it for the fun (and exercise) my cats get from it.
