Infield Terminator UV-400 Safety Glasses for Blue Light and UV

Works great for outside, and for multiple forms of eye protection. I wish it was darker but the color is good and it's adjustable fit is really nice for personalization.

I purchased these based off of a suggestion i read on reddit after being overwhelmed by the marketing of blue light blockers everywhere. I decided to give these a chance because they were a good price point and seemed good quality. I use them as part of my nightly routine and they've improved my sleep and rest significantly. The visibility is great. I appreciate that they wrap around blocking even more light than some of the more expensive brands do.They maybe look a little silly as their appearance is not stylish but i don't mind it.I love the adjustable fit as well.If you have longer hair there is something to be aware of. There are two prongs at the sides where longe hair can get caught on and snag. My solution to this is some painters tape of them and no issues after that. Again, the look isn't elegant but for the price and the quality it's hard to beat.

I use these for night driving, it protects my eyes from the oncomeing bright LED headlights. I keep a pair in both of my cars and in my work truck. I believe they prevent eye damage. It took 26 days to receive these. I ordered on 12/15 and they arrived on 1/10.

These are fantastic. Perfect for immediate relief while staring at blue light emitting screens all day. I've used them occasionally for a few months. If I go too many hours looking at bright computer screens I get a light-sensitive dull stinging headache/eye pain, then I just pop the glasses on and I can keep going as needed.I saw these and a million other more expensive ones while searching blue light blocker recommendation lists, the Infield Terminator UV-400 glasses seemed like the best option for the lowest price. $20 total. Previously I was fooled by cheap glasses claiming to be blue light blockers that had clear lenses. The promise of low price and a clear view is too good to be true. Do not buy them, they do not work. The orange color is needed to block the blue light.When using these orange tinted glasses, a bright blue LED for instance will look like its off, very dim or just white. Looking at an orange world with less intense blues can be very strange at first, kind of like its not the real world or something. When you finally take them off everything looks desaturated and whitewashed for a minute, but it beats having a technology-induced headache.EDIT 01/11/24: After reading another review I found out these glasses have movable parts to customize comfort. The nose rest is a detachable rubbery piece, it can slide down to raise up the lenses for more eye coverage or to modify which parts of your nose it sits on. Also the arms can telescope back to accommodate a large range of head shapes/ear placement. I'll revise and say these glasses are a few steps above common safety glasses. (01/09/2024 Original: The glasses are comfortable enough. They're basically one step above cheaply-built safety glasses, nothing amazing. I dock it 1 star on comfort because it sits just slightly too low for my eyes. I'll have to stick little pads or something on the nose rest to raise it where I want. Also it gets a little uncomfortable when they're sitting on my nose, so I have to adjust them every-so-often. I don't normally wear glasses, but other lighter safety glasses I've used don't cause any discomfort.)For scratch resistance I also dock it 1 star, mine came with a tiny nick near the center of one lens. However, when I put on the glasses I don't see the scratch at all so its not so bad. I don't know if they scratch easily, I only use them to look at screens.

These Blue Light blockers are comfortable enough and serve their purpose.The quality of the arms seems like the weakest point that may be likely to break under stress or pressure if accidentally squished with direct pressure

I have some bright blue LED's I test the blue blocking capabilities of various blue-blocking lenses with. With the Uvex Skypers and Proteges (SCT-Orange tint), the blue blocking is profound, near complete. If I'd rate the Uvex as profound for blue blocking, then I'd rate the Infield Terminator lenses at insane. Not complete, but definitely at least a small but noticeable notch above the Uvex lenses. These lenses are a bit darker in general than Uvex which could account for it, though I would suggest as mentioned in the headline, this can be both good and bad. If I'm driving in the daytime, green lights (which seem to put out tons of blue light) are nearly invisible unless I'm paying very close attention. Also, the sensation can border on virtual reality if you're not used to the amount of blue blocking, whereas I did not get that sensation with Uvex SCT-Orange lenses. These lenses and Uvex SCT-Orange lenses each have their merits (and considerable blue blocking either way). The cost is reasonable enough that the best thing to do is try one or the other for yourself and see which works best. I have both Uvex glasses and these, and I've noticed both seem to work better in different situations.Regarding the lens tint, the main picture seems to suggest this is a multi-tinted lens. It's not. Rather, it's a uniform fairly dark orange, almost the exact color of an amber construction strobe light. I have a fairly large head, and these did pinch a bit at first. They seemed to expand to my head with a bit of time, though perhaps a "luxury" spring hinged version of these may be in order. The nosepad is a bit strange but functional. When I received these, the nosepad was completely bent one way, but quickly adjusted to a central position. As I wear these, the nosepad seems to self adjust to the shape of my face, no complaints there. Note that these are essentially safety glasses and thus have safety frames, not cheater-reader frames.All in all, these are exactly what they claim to be. Thus, there's no hesitation giving these 5 stars.
