ARTEZA Satin Acrylic Varnish 12oz/355ml, UV-Protective, Clear Finish for Canvas, Wood & More - Protect Against Dust, Dirt and Scratches

I tried to make a coaster with a beach scene on it. Doing layers of acrylic paint and resin didn't turn out so well so I did a final layer of acrylic paint and allowed it to dry then used this to to seal it and it worked pretty well so far. I've sat drinks on top of it and the paint hasn't been messed up yet

I got this varnish as a final coat on my acrylic paintings. It applies smoothly with no brush strokes and provides a nice glossy finish. I currently live in the desert so I was looking for a nice UV safe finish to help with the direct sunlight. I've only just starting using the product so cannot vouch for it's long term effectiveness but so far, I'm very happy with the product

This is just like thinned mod podge. Easy to work with, fantastic glossy finish, and dries pretty quickly. I like mod podge better, but I had no problem with brush strokes at all using and I didn't want brush strokes on this particular project, but was resigned to having them, so that was a pleasant surprise.Good value and quality.

I "pour" bottles and put them on clay spikes to water my indoor and outdoor plants. I was looking for a good varnish that is UV ray resistant, does not change the colors of your work and can resist scratching ( from branches or thorns). I have found my varnish- Arteza never lets you down, this glossy acrylic varnish is perfect for my glass bottles. Previously they faded out and/or showed scratches - No More! It brushed on perfectly - and glass is not an easy medium, a lot of products either run down in streaks or they smudge or you can see the brush strokes. Arteza's prices are always a bit more than competing products, but they are so worth it! The "pouring paints" I used are also Arteza paints.

I put the tiniest of drops on this, about 3, and it covered the whole little canvas I had. It did not cause streaking or any blemishes, and kept it looking exactly as it is supposed to be. This is a definite win for me on sealing any acrylic artwork from now on. It covered it really nicely as well, and I can just imagine how much artwork I will be able to seal with this one bottle...my guess is a whole lot. Overall, I have no complaints. It is a little on the thinner side, but that's why a little goes a long way. It dries rather fast as well, and that is a plus in a home with little ones running around. I can varnish and hang right back on the wall if I wanted to. Super happy with this.

This is a trustworthy brand name. I have used their products before and they are of good quality and reasonable prices in the market.I got this varnish for my future family project. I love to DIY. So I am planning to make this collage of photos that I will print at home and cut and lay on a coffee table. But I need this varnish to protect and seal the pictures. I want this thing to last. This is a more affordable option than epoxy for my project. Besides epoxy can get complex to apply depending on the project. This is easy to apply and a lot way more affordable.This is a 12 oz bottle and when you apply dries clear. You can use this product with confidence. As I said I have used this brand for years. I started a mothers day trend for my wife with our first daughter and called it 'A Walk to Remember' which is a foot print of alternating feet each year. 6 years later and with 3 children the canvas is filling up! I used this to protect the canvas so my wife can have this for a very long time. It was easy to brush on and didn't disturb the acrylic. Smooth finish as well.

Arteza generally makes great quality art supplies for the beginner, amateur and even pro level artists and this varnish is no exception. It it a good consistency for my uses and goes on smoothly and evenly. I like that it is satin because I usually only have a matte varnish and a gloss varnish on hand and sometimes I will try to mix them to a satin type finish - so no more trying to match my previous mixes with this ready made option.

Dries soft (tacky) and too glossy. Does not level very well. I won’t buy it again.
