Amazon Collection Sterling Silver A True Friend Reaches For Your Hand But Touches Your Heart Ribbon Heart Pendant Necklace

I can honestly say that this was even more beautiful than I imagined it would be. For $30 I expected a decent size sterling silver heart with plain writing but, for the price I did have concerns it may be a little hard to read and rather small. I could not have been more wrong! I bought this for my best friend for Christmas (mind you we are adults so the cheesy stuff really doesn't do much for us anymore), when she opened it she actually cried. Yes, some of it was because of the meaning behind it but, it actually looked as if I paid a lot more than I actually did! The charm is about the size of a quarter, very easy to read because the font is a decent size, and the necklace was perfect. Not to thin and not to bulky. Usually when you receive a decent charm for the price you get a dinky chain, however, this was not the case. I am more than PLEASED with my purchase and will use this vendor again!

Usually, when I spend ANY money in this economy, I do my homework, or, I have seen the same product in the store, etc. , with the exception of books or movies... however, this was for a birthday gift, and it seemed to be "perfect." HA! Actually, let me restate that "HA!" to "BAAAAAAHHH HAA HAHAHAHAAAAA!!" -- the heart, while small, is quite nice... the chain is nice enough... the writing is SO small that only the youngest eyes will be able to read it, and even THEN, they were heard to day, "DAAAAAMNNN, could they GET THAT any SMALLER??????" The packaging left a bit to be desired as well -- the necklace itself was in a tiny zip-loc bag, the velvet pouch was empty in a box COMPLETELY separate from the zip-loc... ALLLLLL in a small bubble-wrap envelope. When you open your mail, you take the box out, ONLY to find it ENTIRELY EMPTY... WHY???? Because the tiny zip-loc with the necklace has tucked itself DEEP within the bottom of the CORNER OF the envelope. Is this product "good enough for the money?" Maybe. Would I buy it again???? NOOOOOOOOO. Unless it's for someone under ten, choose something else... otherwise, buy them a magnifying glass to read it and use the clasp.

Just wanted to warn those with metal allergies. I have had this necklace for some time now and I think it is really lovely. As far as I am concerned, the size of the pendant is perfect and yes it would be nice if the writing was more legible but it isn't a big deal to me. I have worn it for brief periods on special occasions with no problem but I just took it on a trip and wore it all day and now I am waiting for the painful itchy rash all over my neck to abate. I can usually wear sterling silver with no problem but I will have to get another chain to go with this.

Wow what can I really say other than this was the most meaningful gift that caught my eye and my heart told me that it would be an Awesome gift for my Angel. The fact that this Pendant is made of Sterling Silver was an added bonus because Silver or White Gold are her favorites. In addition the size of this pendant and the length of the chain were and added Bonus. What made this even more special are the words "A True Friend Reaches for Your Hand But Touches Your Heart" now if you only knew the True meaning behind these words... To have someone come into your life two years ago & make such a Positive impact, at the same time help to change the outlook in your future. Well to say the least this was meant for my Angel who has been a true Blessing since the day she arrived.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. It's a very pretty necklace and comes in a nice heavy box. The writing is a little hard to read and not quite as clear as the picture shows but still readable in good lighting. It would be a pretty necklace even without the writing so not a problem. It's one I would buy again.

No one can complain about price. However, with such beautifully sentimental words affixed to a heart shaped necklace, the picture is quite deceiving. The actual size is much smaller. So small, that it is impossible to read the inscription even with glasses and a magnifying glass. The chain is so delicate that it knots in sections with any movement. I will be sending back for refund. This was a purchase requested by my mother for a good friend who was there for her through the most difficult time of her life, losing my father, her husband and best friend of 54 years. The woman who would receive this gift would have loved the inscription, if only it were large enough to read. Perhaps a larger pendant, a bracelet or statuette with this inscription might be worth purchasing for her instead. You would have to agree, the words are priceless. "A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your heart". I am anxious to hear what the seller or manufacturer has to offer as a potential substitute if possible. Mom is anxious to thank this special lady but like so many is on an extremely fixed income.

The heart itself is VERY nice. The sentimental value is perfect and the person I bought it for loved it. You'd be good to buy this if you're tight on cash, yet want to make an impact on the person you gift it to.I gave it 4/5 stars only because of the chain. It's kind of floppy, but the heart is big enough that if they have another chain, they could put it on there. Also, it came in a neat suede pouch in a box. I gifted it with just the pouch since the box was cheap.

Purchased as a gift. The chain is a bit wimpy, but strong enough to support the pendant for occasional wear. If one is going to wear this often, or not remove it at all, I'd recommend a stronger chain.The pendant is beautifully done. The heart is at least an inch wide, perhaps a bit more in height. (Sorry, already wrapped it for gift so I can't measure it now). The heart is hefty, excellent quality and is highly polished; the inscription is deep and dark enough to be easily read. One must turn the heart over and sideways to read the entire sentiment, but the words are clear, not squished together.Just a beautiful pendant with a heart warming sentiment. Would like to see more of this pendant with a variety of sentiments available.
