Bought to remove and replace ball joints on 2002 Dodge 2500, the ball joints were very stubborn and had to use a lot of force using a four foot extension to remove and replace ball joints, this toolset held up under extreme pressure and did not bend, I was amazed, would buy again.

I'm not sure it will hold to installing 100 ball joints but for the price it is good quality and had the correct cups and adapters for my 16 ram 1500 4x4

I don’t do many reviews but this one deserves one. I got this kit to remove and replace the lower ball joints on my 2002 ford ranger rwd. After watching a lot of videos I figured I’d save myself $750 that was quoted to do the job for upper control arms and ball joints on both sides. Most of the videos I watched mentioned making adapters and such but this kit actually had everything needed to do the job all included. Just make sure you are using the right adapters and sleeves. I had a little difficulty at first pressing the ball joints out at first until I realized I was using the wrong receiver tube. Which is why I think those who have bent the clamp must have been using it improperly. Once I figured that out they came out with little effort. Be sure to keep the threads of the press well oiled and use it right and you will have zero issues. This kit saved me big money and I can use it again if needed. 10/10 would recommend.

I used this kit and it should have worked and probably will for most people. It I had a heck of a time with a lower ball joint and ended up stripping the threads out of the c clamp and the shank. Item got so bad it wouldn’t thread thru the tool. I contacted the mfg and they sent me a replacement but it took them over a week to confirm they would. That doesn’t do good when you have the front end of your truck ripped apart.

I have several peices of Vevor equipment for my shop and they never disappoint!I purchased this ball joint press kit to replace an old kit. The C-Clamp section of my prevous kit BENT in the middle thus the to ends were not parallel anymore so it was useless. This kit from Vevor was surprisingly heavy and it is clear it is made of superior quailty steel. I expect to have great service from this for years to come!

Rest of kit is great. But the important piece the clamp and threaded rod galled badly on first use. Just not hard enough.Wouldn’t recommend
