LOGITECH - Quality and Reliability are still KEY (pun intended)!
Several years ago I bought a Bluetooth keyboard for use with one of my electronic devices and the stupid thing stuttered. Every time I typed a key it would show it twice. I searched and searched online for a fix for this and was unable to find one. In the past, I've purchased computer mice and keyboards from other big name companies and almost every time there has been some sort of hassle: you don't have the right driver, it's not compatible with your device, you need to install this invasive software, etc. So it was with some trepidation that I decided to purchase this keyboard. The KEY (pun intended) deciding factor was the brand name LOGITECH! Although I've only purchased 3 or 4 different devices from LOGITECH, without fail, they have been plug in, turn on, work! I have NEVER had a problem with a LOGITECH device, PERIOD! It has been several years since I've purchased from them and it seems that their insistence on QUALITY and RELIABILITY has not wavered. Okay, so the Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480. Just buy one! It is a substantial keyboard, meaning that it has some heft to it and it's solidly built. It's size is 11 1/2" wide X 7 1/2" long X just over 1/2" thick. If it's not regulation keyboard size it's pretty damn close. I was able to touch type on it immediately without having to adjust how I type. As usual, LOGITECH, realizing that people today have more than one device has made this keyboard switchable to three different devices. I recently purchased a new tablet and wanted to use the old one with this keyboard as a "typewriter" that I could easily take to work. I HATE onscreen keyboards because I'm a touch typist and I can type much faster on a keyboard than any teenage girl can thumb-type on her cell phone! So the first job was to pair the keyboard with my old tablet...took less than five minutes and that includes the time I took to go to the LOGITECH site and read through their documentation. WORKED PERFECTLY! Absolutely no delay in keyboard to tablet. It was as though I was typing on a typewriter! This morning I thought I might have a need to use the keyboard with my new tablet, so I turned the selector to "2" and paired my new tablet as well. WORKED PERFECTLY! Then I thought, "oh yeah, one of the reasons I'd started looking for a Bluetooth keyboard, that I'd since forgotten (duh!) was that I'd recently purchased a Fire stick and HATED their onscreen keyboard (no surprise there!). So I took the keyboard into the living room and sat on the couch and turned the selector to "3" and paired it with my Fire TV. WORKED PERFECTLY! I shouldn't really be surprised as LOGITECH has a perfect track record with me. I guess they take the extra time to make sure that their devices work as they are designed to do and work out any bugs before they release them to the marketplace, unlike many other companies. Since I'm using this keyboard on Android type devices I really don't have a lot of use for a lot of the computer type keys, but I'm sure that some others out there will make use of them and critique them for you. The fact that this keyboard can be used with three different devices with the turn of a dial and that it can be used with Windows/Apple/Android devices makes it one of the most flexible on the market and the LOGITECH brand name ensures that it is a QUALITY product, which my experience has proven has not faltered. I don't usually spend this much time on reviews. Amazon nags me about reviews of items that I've purchased and I will usually type one or two lines just to get them to SHUT UP! But this keyboard reminded me how reliable and serious LOGITECH is about providing electronic devices that do what they are supposed to do and prompted me to make sure that I wrote a review that I hope will encourage you to buy one! Because of another review I also purchased a carry case for it at the same time and I am rather pleased with it. It's great because the mesh area that they show with a cable in it is big enough for me to put my old tablet in and so I have one case with the keyboard and tablet. So it's my own version of an old fashioned typewriter case! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0762H2SZ8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This is a great keyboard
I bought this bluetooth keyboard to replace a different brand I bought several months ago. That keyboard worked well but began suffering from bluetooth disconnects and what I presume was failure of its rechargeable battery and had become unusable. So far this keyboard has worked well. It can connect to 3 different devices by rotating a switch between 1, 2 and 3, and the bluetooth connections seem to work well. I use it for my MacBook Pro (which I use in clamshell mode), my iPhone and an iPad and it works properly and well with all of them. Connecting seems to happen almost instantaneously. I have not noticed the keyboard sleeping and so I have not lost any keystrokes when typing. That had been an issue for me with my previous keyboard so it is a relief not to have to worry about that with this keyboard. There is a wide slot at the top of this keyboard that works well to hold my iPhone and my iPad while I am typing although I am not sure that it would be wide enough to hold either device if I used a case. The keys are responsive and typing using this keyboard feels natural. There are some small issues that struck me as odd. The keys make quite a bit of noise when pressed and I prefer a silent keyboard, and the on/off switch is on the bottom of the keyboard along with the light that indicates that it has been turned on. I don't know why those are not on the top where they would be easier to reach, but perhaps there was no room inside the keyboard. The one negative comment that I have is that the keyboard does not use rechargeable batteries but requires 2 AAA batteries. I have no idea yet how long those will last, and I would prefer rechargeable batteries, but I can always use some rechargeable AAA batteries instead of the regular alkaline batteries so perhaps it is not a big issue. All in all this is a very nice keyboard and I am happy with it. ------------------------------ Amazon says that this keyboard is frequently returned, but I do not understand why. I bought my first one about 5 years ago and just bought a second one to replace the original one which my dog destroyed. Until he got hold of it and chewed up the control knob it was still working perfectly after 5 years and so when I replaced it I bought the exact same keyboard. As far as I am concerned this is the best keyboard I have ever owned and it is easily more comfortable to use and more versatile than the Apple keyboard that it replaced. I use it for input to my Mac mini, my smartphone and my tablet. My thanks to Logitech for marketing something this sturdy and this useful.

You can't go wrong with it.
I got this for my son 2 years ago, and so far it has bore the brunt of his daily usage, whether school or gaming. The design is very sensible yet stands out quite nicely. The keys and rotary device selector dial feel tanky, and the battery lasts as advertised (even longer if turned off between uses). Device switching is very easy, and typing feels satisfactory. Now, this does have SOME drawbacks that prevent it from getting my 5 stars. For a keyboard of this size, it does feel considerably weighty, the phone-tablet holder may only accomodate such if it doesn't have a case, and the keyboard tends to disconnect sometimes. Overall, this Logitech K480 is a reasonable, bang-for-your-buck keyboard for someone looking for versatility and quality. At the end of the day, it's a Logitech. What could go wrong?

It’s nice
I bought this as a gift for someone that did away with their computer and only has an iPad an iPhone now. I didn’t buy the Magic Keyboard because she already had a cover she was happy with and that would have just been overkill. I did have to help her set this up, so I connected it to her cell phone and iPad, showed her how to switch between devices, and it switches flawlessly. Setting this up was a breeze and super easy. I think there were 3 steps and they had the instructions printed on a sticker right on the keyboard. My thought on the size is that it is a bit on the bulky side in terms of thickness, but that’s easily solved with some type of laptop case or a backpack that has the separate pockets to carry an iPad and the keyboard. The length and width is fine, and it is more compact than a standard keyboard without the number keypad. It does seem to be durable and built well like it will last for some time without intentional abuse. I did find that her iPad didn’t really sit in the tray nicely because of her case, but the phone with a thinner case did kind of fit. So, if you keep a case on your device, you might need to just use the stand on your case, or buy a separate stand instead of trying to fit your device with a case in the little tray to hold your device. Or, just take the case off. I didn’t test this with Android or Microsoft products because we only have Apple iOS devices. So, I can’t speak to pairing with those devices. For typing, there were no problems and I didn’t notice much of a delay after setting it up and testing the typing out. This is just so you can decide if this is right for you. I did find that resting my wrists in the table and typing is a bit uncomfortable for me, so you might want to consider getting something like a wrist rest. The keys are raised nicely so you can type very easily, but it is noisy, just like a standard keyboard for your computer. So, depending on how fast you type, it could sound like Morse Code. This is not a chicklet-style keyboard, so the noise is to be expected. For what this is, the person I bought this for and their needs, this is a great purchase. They primarily use it at home or on vacations, so they aren’t going to coffee shops, parks, libraries, or other random places with it much, so it’s perfect. I think it’s a great value, especially for older folks as the person I bought this for is in their 70’s. I would recommend this product for anyone that wants more of a standard style keyboard instead of something like the Apple or Logitech cases that use the chicklet-style keys. If you’re on the go a lot with your tablet, then you might want to consider a case with an attached keyboard instead. One other plus for me, and depending on your needs may not be a plus, is that it uses regular batteries. So, when it runs low, you can just replace the batteries and keep on going, you don’t have to wait for it to charge up. I’m sure you could just buy the some AA rechargeable batteries if you do want the recharge life. It’s just nice to know that you won’t have any downtime with it, which tends to happen when you need to use it most. I also found the door to access the batteries easy to open and close, as well as being in a good spot for easy access.

Great Bluetooth Keyboard
Shipping was extremely fast. As soon as the payment went through, it arrived the very next day. The product box was a little dent in places, but my concern was the actual keyboard. It was wonderfully pristine and extremely easy to set up. I wanted this so I didn't have to lug around my laptop to my college classes, especially considering most of them don't approve of laptop use in class anyways, but I wanted to be able to type out anything really quickly without running around campus looking for an available computer. The bluetooth connectivity is super easy to connect and the sticker it comes with gives you a link to an online manual that's easy to understand. I find it great that it has different channels for 3 devices, that way you don't have to worry about confusing the keyboard on where to connect and having to fiddle with bluetooth on every device you own. The keyboard itself is fantastic. It responds well and is the size of a standard laptop keyboard. I've always had problems with other bluetooth keyboards being too small and having the keys extremely close together. This keyboard might be bigger than other portable keyboards to keep that natural feel, but it doesn't compromise the size by adding in weight. It weighs only a couple pounds, making it feel more like a standard hardcover book than a fully functional keyboard. Another reason I specifically chose this keyboard was the groove for your devices. Every other keyboard doesn't have this feature, making you have to buy a stand or bulky case with a stand. Thankfully, this one has a groove wide and deep enough to fit most devices. It's even slanted to keep it from falling. It can easily hold my iPad 3 with a plastic shell case and even my Droid Turbo with it's super bulky case. The only two things I would recommend is that you have or buy a case to hold both the keyboard and your tablet, especially if you're going to school or taking it with you everywhere on a daily basis. Though that could just be me because I like to have that extra security. The second is carry along extra batteries. It's unfortunate that it isn't rechargeable, but I feel like that would add on extra unneeded pounds. It comes with batteries so it can be used right out of the box, but it's easy to forget when they need to be replaced because the switch and battery indicator are on the bottom. So if you don't make it a habit to switch it off when you're done, those batteries will drain before you know it. Overall, great keyboard for students and writers, just have a case and extra batteries before you leave.

Works as advertised; dial is convenient; other cheaper options availablw
I got this on sale and was satisfied enough with it I decided to keep it (in my bathroom for the "toilet" tablet + my phone + work phone that comes with me). The base is heavy enough it shouldn't tip over with whatever you stand up in it. I'd prefer if the holder was a bit wider (my phone doesn't fit well with its case on and I don't find the angle for the tablet to be ideal), but it's not terrible. I would have liked to have a touchpad or numpad but for this purpose I didn't really require them. I dislike that it maps the function buttons to special functions unless you hold fn (instead of the other way around, defaulting to F1, F2, etc), but for this use (and part of why I ended up with this use) is that it does make sense to have home, search, back, etc for Android/iOS with single button presses. I like that it takes removable standard batteries (so I can use rechargeable NiMH). Main complaint is just that it's overpriced compared to what's available only a few weeks later (I picked up another brand that also Main complaint (aside from the holder being so skinny it's probably incompatible with most cases) is just that now that the return window is past, there are other decent quality options for 1/3 of the price (that also support 3 toggleable devices and include a different kind of stand that isn't as limiting)

As far as Bluetooth keyboards go, it's definitely the one to get.
I got this for my wife for a gift and she has been going crazy-go-nuts over how much she loves it for several days. I'll give a quick break down for people who are shopping. Pros: 1. It works with anything that has Bluetooth, and VERY easily. We hooked up an iPad mini, and two cell phones (both android) in less than 3 minutes. It's that easy. Just activate your Bluetooth on your device, search for devices, select the K480, type the verification code in on the keyboard, and you're up. 2. It actually works as simply as it sounds. In all the devices we hooked up, we just turn the 3 way toggle and it automatically switches to that device, takes away the "on device" keyboard, and you start typing on that device. You can switch between devices on the fly, which takes like 1-2 seconds. My wife has her iPad mini and her phone in the cradle and is online and texting her mother simultaneously, just switching back and forth between devices with 1 flip of a switch. It's absurdly easy and she loves it with bells on. Bells on? No. More like a whole hand bell choir, playing Beethoven while she sips tea with Emily Gaskell and Jane Austin in a gazebo in 1850's Brittan. Okay...maybe not that much. 3. It's solid and doesn't feel like it's plastic. It's not too heavy per say, but solid. 4. It has a clever sticker along the top that has full instructions to set things up and connect devices. As a guy, I love that she got to feel all "techie" by doing stuff without asking me for help. I love helping her, but figuring out technology on her own makes here feel somehow like a part of the CIA. 5. It's a laptop sized keyboard. I'm writing this on my Asus laptop and the key spacing is identical to my laptop. The keys themselves are a little smaller with a little more space in between then, but if you can type on a laptop you can type on this. No cramped fingers and no hitting 2 keys with one finger. 6. It has multiple multifunction keys that are pre-programmed (like a "home" key, a "back" key, etc.). She's figured out a bunch of cool shortcuts and has love learning to utilize this thing to actually make her more efficient and productive in the hour she has at the end of the night to get all the e-mail/web surfing time in. 7. It's nicely thought out. There aren't any unnecessary gadgets or needless buttons on this (though that's pure opinion). 8. It's Logitech. They just make decent stuff and they're a brand name that has some credibility, being around the business for decades and decades. I still use 2 Logitech mice that are a decade old. They're not a perfect company, but I have honestly never had serious problems with Logitech. 9. It shipped with batteries, included and ready to go. You just pull out the tab and you're on. Cons: 1. It was more costly than the alternatives. We got it on sale for $40, and that might seem high for a Bluetooth keyboard. There are other brands online for $15 or less. Then again, half those $15 options all look the same because they're all made in the same sweatshop in China and re-branded by a company that won't be around in 2 years once the money gets laundered. Now it's true that Logitech's stuff is all made in Chinese sweatshop too, but Logitech has a long-standing name. Still, it probably doesn't need to cost $40. It is definitely more solid and respectable a product than the $15 knock-off stuff, so I paid the fee and don't regret it. As consumers, we're likely getting skinned because of the name "Logitech"...but if we wanted a quality "made in America" product that was produced in a factory where the workers made an actually livable wage, it would cost $140. What can you do? 2. They keys make noise. Some folks have complained that the keys are loud, and they're about as loud as any regular laptop keyboard. I don't see that as a con, but if you're expecting it to be as quite as the touch pad on you phone, it won't be. If you plan to use this to send text messages in church, you'll get discovered pretty quick. Then again, if you're taking an external Bluetooth keyboard to church because you plan on texting that much, you have some serious problems. So, for $40 I made my wife significantly happier for several days. That alone is worth the money for me.

One of my favorite Amazon purchases of all time
This keyboard is one of my favorite Amazon purchases of all time. I stalked it until it went on sale and snapped it up as soon as Amazon listed it as a "deal of the day." Straight out of the box, it was super simple to set up and pair with several devices. The instructions are pictured on a removable sticker right on the keyboard, but you almost don't need them because it's so intuitive to use. Pairing with devices is as easy as pressing a single button on the upper right hand corner of the keyboard (there's one marked "pc" and one marked "i" depending on which type of device you wish to pair) and then finding the keyboard on your device's bluetooth settings to pair. And switching between different devices is extremely easy....all you have to do is turn a knob on the keyboard to the number you have designated for each device. You can pair up to 3 devices on it. I have paired it with my iPhone 6 and also with an Android tablet, and have had zero issues. My husband has also used it when he has needed to type a lengthy email using his iPhone, and he enjoys using it as well. He often complains about compact keyboards because he has large hands and finds smaller keyboards awkward or difficult to use. Not the case with this one...Although it is a very portable size (only slightly larger than an ipad) the layout of the keys is very comfortable for both his big hands and my smaller ones. It's also nice that it has a groove at the top of the keyboard that works as a stand where I can place whichever device I'm using. A device with a bulky case won't fit very well, but so far I've had no issues with a slim case on my phone. I do have to remove the case from my Android tablet in order for it to fit in the groove because it is a thicker case with a screen cover. This keyboard uses AAA batteries, which I like because it's easy to just keep a couple extra batteries in my bag when I travel and I can just pop them in and keep typing instead of having to wait for yet another device to charge. I haven't had to change out the batteries yet though, and I have a feeling I won't have to for a long time because the keyboard does put itself into sleep mode if you forget to turn it off using the power switch on the bottom of the unit. Overall, I highly recommend this bluetooth keyboard for students, business people, and pretty much anyone who needs a portable keyboard. It looks sleek, it's lightweight, it's versatile, it fits easily into a bag or backpack, it's great for travel, and it works easily with various and multiple devices.

Really impressed!
For $50 I wasn't expecting much and was really surprised by the quality and how much I've ended up using this thing! I love technology but I'm not really a phone person. I always feel restricted and just reach for my laptop. With this keyboard I can actually take notes, respond to emails and generally use my phone like a laptop (works great with DOSbox!). I've used my calculator for the photo (needed my phone to take it!) but I wanted to show how easy it is to set up my phone to play my online courses and tutorials while I follow along on my laptop it's really great! (slot width is only 7/16" so make sure your phone will fit!) I didn't think the 3 way switch would really be for me either but It's great to be able to switch between laptop, phone, and raspberry pi! (or whatever 3 you want to use that day!) The keys are slightly concave which feels really good on the fingers and the keyboard feels good to type on. To be honest I'm not supper picky (I mainly use my 90 dell usb keyboard) but this is a really nice (usually on the go) addition that has really opened up the usability of my phone! Pros: - solid build - comfortable to use - a bit heavy but still very portable without feeling like the keys are slammed together - three way switch so you can hook up to three devices at once and very easily switch between them! - three way switch is cut away nicely so its very easy and quick to switch between devices (photo 2) - silicone padded slot to hold your phone while you type (slot is 7/16" wide so make sure you phone will fit with its case!) - works with windows, and Linux (raspberry pi) (also with mac but I haven't tested) cons: - a bit heavy to lug around - it would be nice to have some flip out feet so you could angle the keyboard - phone slot could be a bit bigger (new phone doesn't fit with its bulky case)

Seamless Switching, Great Performance ✨
After using the K80 Wireless Multi-Device Keyboard for 1 month, I’m very satisfied with its performance. The multi-device switching remains the best feature—it connects seamlessly between my laptop, phone, and tablet without lag. It has made multitasking much easier and more efficient. The typing experience is still smooth and comfortable even after long hours of use. The keys feel responsive, and the compact design keeps my workspace clean without compromising usability. Battery life has been excellent so far—I haven’t needed to replace or recharge it yet. The build quality also holds up well, with no signs of wear. Overall, it’s a reliable, practical, and value-for-money keyboard. Perfect for anyone needing a simple multi-device setup. Highly recommended!

Great for home office use and working from home.
Got this as a replacement of Logitech MK240 keyboard. The keyboard is heavy and feels solid, you do feel the quality of the product. Paired it with my PC and Note 10, the switch between bluetooth wireless is seamless. I could immediately do typing just about 1 second after the switch between devices. Keyboard key feedback are not really quiet, could produce a little noise when you type faster (when comparing to MK240). Some may like the feedback, but it is not to my liking (a personal choice). Will keep it however, it is still worth the purchase. Hopefully with longer use and wear-in, it would be smoother.

Easy to use
Kids love it for school. Bought with carry case so perfect companion. Would be better if battery was rechargeable.
