Great product with a recyclable container, but not ideal for travel.
Great product, I love the company and that it comes in a recyclable container that isn’t plastic. The only downside is that it’s not travel-friendly.

Works as promised
I love the smell of this product (light and fresh) and the way it makes my hair feel! I do two wash cycles and the second one gets nice and sudsy. I pair this with the same type of conditioner.

A very good hydrating and detangling shampoo.
I love this shampoo. Not only does it hydrates it detangles it's helpful detangling in the shower. I saw one of the YouTube videos and girls talking bad about it, but I didn't let that stop me, I went ahead and tried it for myself, and my 4c hair loves it.So if you're interested , that's what you're gonna have to do , try it for yourself.

JVN haircare for life
We are a JVN family. We switched to JVN products as soon as it launched and it better never go away. My daughters have thick curly hair and this transformed their hair. They each were getting frizz and matted hair but when we switched to JVN, it smoothed everything out. Now they can brush their hair easily and their hair is much healthier!

Good but amelly
This is great stuff my hair is soft soft but I can’t stand how I smell. It is so strong I feel like I soaked myself in some nasty stuff. Too strong.

Not recommended for a frizzy hair
I like it, the smell and the freshness it leaves on my hair is fabulous but it leaves my hair very brittle and frizzy.

Love This Shampoo/Conditioner!
Both shampoo and conditioner are very hydrating! I have curly, dry hair and JVN has been a game-changer. The price is descent, especially for the amount of product.

New formula, not good
I used the original formula of this nurturing shampoo for years prior. It worked well, lathered well, and smelt of rosemary. It worked well, and left my hair smooth and bouncy. When I had used the last of it, I went on here to find more. Sadly, the new formula smells of perfume (gardenia or magnolia forward). It’s nauseating and instantly caused a headache. I tried several washes with this shampoo, only to hate it. My hair was instantly more fragile, lacked bounce, and was left feeling dry. I suspect the added fragrance has extra alcohols in it, causing an imbalanced product. Used to love to recommend JVN. Now, I recommend staying away.
