I did a lot of digging around the internet before choosing to purchase two of these crates. I have to say, I'm impressed. The price was comparable or better to the others I found of this size. I DID NOT want a wire bottom that the dog had to stand on, which I saw on many of the other furniture-style crates. While they do come with a heavy-duty plastic pan, these are "bottomless" so may not be suitable for all dogs. Mine are calm and fine with being crated so no worries for me.Arrived very well packaged, no damage to any part. Bolts and screwdriver nicely packaged, easy to see they were all there (including an extra bolt in each pkg). Each part was protected from the others with plastic bags and styrofoam (the kind that can be recycled in my state). Parts were easy to remove from the box and easy to carry upstairs in just a couple of trips to where I was placing the crates.The directions were useful and easy to follow. I did not install the divider. There were some extra felt pads but nothing noted as to what they were for. Turns out there are two 1/2 pieces on the bottom of the back panel, I guess to keep the pan from slipping out the other side. Mine are up against a wall so no worries there but it's a nice touch. The crates are super-easy to assemble; I did it myself and it took maybe 10-15 minutes. I just put them together so I can't speak to durability but they are sturdy and a much nicer look than plain wire crates. Overall extremely pleased with my purchase!

Well designed, great quality crate. Easy to assemble. The bottom slides out easily to clean if needed. Just wish my dog would would actually go in a crate.

I love the way this kennel looks in my bedroom. My new puppy sleeps sound & secure inside. I like that it still has a pull out tray unlike some of the other furniture kennels. It was pretty easy for me to assemble on my own. I use the solid top to store some of his puppy gear so I can quickly put his harness on to go outside immediately when he wakes up. I would recommend this kennel & im glad I bought it!

I'll start by saying that we LOVE this crate. It's better than the ones that have a solid back because it seems to let more light in. We had a different one that we returned because it felt like a dungeon and our dog did not want to get in. This one is great. It's taller than others which is nice. The top is great for using as furniture but it's not the highest quality appearance. It does not have fake wood grain or anything - more like a panel (that might eventually peel up but right now it's good!) like an old school desk. I wish it has some texture at least but for a dog crate, it looks wonderful and our dog loves it. I like that it has doors on both sides so we can move it as we redecorate and move to new homes. The wire is good and heavy duty. We put a dog bed in this for comfort.

So the cage is nice overall...much better looking in my living room than a regular crate. Super easy to put together. The reason for taking off a star is because the cage part itself...especially the door...seems a little flimsy. There's a lot of play in the latches to keep it closed. So if you have a dog that tries to escape or a stronger dog than this might not be your best option.

Perfect size for my dog, he loves sleeping in there. Goes perfectly with my other white furniture in my room. Super EASY to assemble and good quality. I really love how it looks and I like how I can use it as a table too. Very happy with this purchase
