EDITED: Company reached out to us and sent some new crayons. Can't really ask for much more than that. That customer service makes this a good value and bumps from 2 stars to five. The good: Crayons are a good size, easy for small hands to grip, and the colors are vibrant . It's also a good selection of colors. The bad: Crayons arrived with one of the tips already broken. It only took one session of coloring to have two more snap off. Perhaps you need to color gently with them. But by definition, something you have to use gently shouldn't be advertised for toddlers. (They aren't exactly gentle). Either way, I can't recommend these because of the lack of durability which is a shame because the carrying "cup" is awesome and the size and vibrancy of the colors are really good.

They seem to be pretty sturdy - definitely difficult to break. Color is great, draws smoothly, perfect size for my toddler! A bit expensive, but good quality.

Bought for my 2 year old niece. Easy for her to hold. Smooth coloring. Perfect for little ones.

They're great because they're non-toxic and come in tons of colors and are so smooth to use, but one broke within thirty seconds of my child opening them. I just taped the tip back onto the crayon because as we color with them they'll wear down anyways (so why return?), but I was surprised how quickly it broke. I think they make a kind that is retractable, so we may try them next. But super nice packaging. If you want to give someone a NICE gift, these are adorable. They have little stickers in the container, too. The container is great. Super sturdy packaging. Highly recommend but watch out, some break quickly. I know it's par for the course with crayons but they're not cheap, so it was a little irritating.

Not surprised but should have listened to MANY other reviews warning me of this product!!! I purchased these overly expensive crayons for my daughter’s 2nd birthday because she’s tough on crayons but loves to color. I thought these being thicker they would offer durability and longevity, but I was wrong!!!! Already have a broken crayon tip upon delivery before even being touched or played with! Both the box it came in and the crayon container itself were undamaged so clearly this is a quality program of the product!!! I will be lucky if these crayons make it through the end the week before all being in pieces! Very disappointed!!!!:( UPDATE 10/29/21 I am revising my previous review! This company is an excellent company who value their customers!!!!! They contacted me after realizing how much trouble I had with my first order and offered to send me out a brand set of crayons to replace our original order which we’re broken on arrival. They offered to do this free of charge! What’s more is they didn’t even request that I change my review but I felt it important to do so anyway. All the crayons were fully intact and in perfect condition and working great upon arrival! I have no doubt my daughter will for a long time!:) Absolutely wonderful company!

Ugh, my daughter is like a mini hulk. I was tired of having to replace broken crayons, so I purchased these since they were made in the USA and were thicker so A-she would have a harder time breaking them and b-they were bigger and easier for her to hold. Well, they do the job exactly as I had hoped! She has been using them fairly consistently for the past 3 or so days, and they have held up incredibly well. Also, the actual colors from the crayons are really bright, bold colors! The packaging is perfect because it teaches her to put her crayons back into the container when she's done using them. They also came with some small sheets of stickers, which is a winner because kids love all things stickers. I would definitely recommend these crayons to any parents out there looking for some durable, good quality crayons!

I am updating this review to 5 stars!! After my initial review, I was contacted by the seller with an offer for a refund or to try their silk crayons. I read about these from another review and was excited to try them. They arrived (in addition to a new box of the original product) and i am so impressed! They are silky and soft, write beautifully and are so easy for my toddler to use to draw. They do not break when dropped!! This is exactly what I was looking for. I am really impressed with this company's customer service. Awesome all around. thank you!! Previous review... "I am very disappointed in these crayons. I bought these a few months ago excited for my 15 month old to try them, and within a day of bringing them out several are broken. He drops them and they break instantly into unusably small pieces! I expect crayons for kids to be less fragile. Otherwise, they are pretty in color and soft."

UPDATE 4/12/19: This company gets a 5 STAR review. When they saw that our toddler's crayons all broke right away they immediately contacted us to not only give us a refund but to also offer another product that wouldn't break - on them. The crayons they sent were 'silk' and in a hard case. They draw beautifully and not a single one is brittle. Our son loves taking the caps on and off (with toddlers you have to watch them with the caps but we do anyway). We wanted to say that they never asked us to change our review but honestly - We know how important reviews are to small companies. So, that being said, I won't order this specific crayon in the future but I have now been exposed to an even better product for our toddler - the Silky Crayons. I suggest checking them out as your toddler will NOT BREAK them and will LOVE THEM. I will definitely recommend this company to others for their service They are very brittle meaning that it’s very easy to break the sharpened part does and then in half. It cleans up easy from the walls... and they seem pretty safe if my kiddo takes a nibble.
