It works well but some niggles.
Well, I thought this was WiFi but it's not, which means whilst listening to music full blast, anything else playing on your phone comes through the speakers. So I'm not going to complain about that, it was my bad - but stating for others who might think the same as me. This replaced a Chromecast that was using an Amazon HDMI Audio splitter - basically took the audio from the Chromecast and sent it to the AMP. Now bearing in mind my plug was running a Chromecast and Splitter it seemed it wasn't enough to correctly power it.. or something was loose, either way putting another plug on seemed to work. The device has a strong, bright LED ring around the top, which is really, really annoying, cannot be changed and cannot be disabled. The buttons on the device, regardless of what support tells you are just soft buttons to control the phones volume, like almost everything else Bluetooth. I have a very powerful old AMP a TEAC A-610, this is 120wpc at 4 ohms and 90woc at 8 ohms. The Chromecast was crazy loud at 25%, this thing needs 50%, support were unhelpful, though my Wharfdale Vardus and Amp was the problem. One annoying really annoying niggle is my phone complains I've been wearing Bluetooth headphones for too long and turns the volume down more too. Tried on my phone and 2 tablets and the volume issue is still there.. maybe the Chromecast or splitter was boosting the connection, I don't know. Either way, it works.. was it worth buying for me? No I think using the old Chromecast system would have been better, but it does mean 1 less thing to power. I'll see how I get on. This would be a 5 star if there was some sort of software to control the BT device (like ankers soundcore app) but there's not, and support was bad so I've knocked 1 star off. The devices blue light is really annoying, but luckily it fits perfectly behind my. TVs wall bracket (with somes cable ties help) and I don't see it. If you're after something cheap and cheerful, it works.

A great way to link/stream your phone to older equipment
It works a treat to link my Ruark R4i non-bluetooth amp/CD/DAB player to music apps on my phone. It comes with the leads you need to go via a single input source (or you can use a phono input with your own phono to phono lead). It now has its own volume control, thus overcoming a lot of the older reviews that complain about very low output level. So no problem to recommenced wholeheartedly.

Works amazingly! Bring your own plug though!
Absolutely brilliant and works superb. Only not 5 stars as the power cable is USB โAโ and doesnโt supply a plug. Luckily had a plug hiding away! Works amazing though.

Bluetooth receiver
This Bluetooth receiver works well when connected to my Panasonic home cinema system. I use it to stream music from my phone and it uses the AAC codec. It does have other codecs built in if your transmitter can use aptx or aptHD. Comes with an RCA to 3.5mm jack cable.

Wish had bought sooner
Wish had bought sooner, what a gadget, Straight into the DJM 500 and can replace where my vinyl is missing. Just wish I could change the pitch on the gadget! Awesome piece of kit

Very frustrating, as it just auto-reconnects even when you disconnect on purpose

Great and easy functionality!
Itโs a great device that works straight out of the box without much explanation needed. Plugged in and connected it to my studio speakers it now works perfectly and music can be played via Bluetooth without any issues. Switching between devices also works great. Highly recommended!
