Japanese language, English subtitles, all 78 eisodes in standard definition, Region A discs. Once again, the villainous Doctor Eggman has gathered the seven Chaos Emeralds for his latest dastardly scheme. And right on cue, like a bolt from the blue, Sonic (the quickest hedgehog around) arrives to save the day! But when Chaos Control is triggered by accident, Sonic and his friends―Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and the rest―are all catapulted to another world. This world is strangely different from their own, and our heroes don’t know how to get back home! To make matters worse, Eggman and his sinister allies are stuck in this new location right along with them. To make it back to their world, our supersonic heroes will have to make tracks to hunt down the Chaos Emeralds before Doctor Eggman, who will stop at nothing to conquer this exotic new land for his evil Eggman Empire. The race is on, and Sonic’s gotta go fast! Make time for relaxation, ‘cause Sonic X is out of this world! Review: Good, but unfortunately only in 480i - Unfortunately this blu-ray is not 1080p, but instead 480i. Unfortunate, but understandable. However that does result in all 78 episodes fitting on just 2 discs, making this a rather compact blu-ray set. There is a decent amount of bonus content on the discs, including storyboards and pilots, which does make this a rather nice addition to my blu-ray collection. Review: Wonderful customer service and the quality of the item - Product came fast despite the postal on strike. The customer service was super nice and very helpful. I am very pleased to have shopped from them! Thank you again, so much, for the Blu-ray!

Nice to see original version!
Nice to get the full experience with the Japanese version! Swedish dub version was on TV when it was released back in the day. So always wanted to see it with the original voice and get to see every episode as well.

Sonic X as it was MEANT to be seen.
Back in 2003, Sonic the Hedgehog got a full fledged anime series known as "Sonic X." I originally watched the Japanese version before 4Kids picked it up. The English version just didn't compare and too much was changed and dumbed down from the Japanese version. (Including a lot of really dumb edits and excluding the awesome Japanese music score.) Now thanks to Discotek we can FINALLY watch Sonic X uncut as it was meant to be seen and appreciate it for the great anime it truly is. If you have nostalgia for Sonic X or just love the Sonic franchise in general, this is a MUST buy. It even includes all the original production pilots from when the show was still in production.
