Shallow 8" Depth, 19" Rack Mount Cases (3U)

Well built. Great value.

I am using a Sesmic Audio 4u rack case for my Behringer XR18, a TP-Link Travel Router, a Raspberry Pi (for recording from the XR18), and a Bluetooth receiver (for break music). I was really happy with that case so, when I needed another smaller case for in-ear wireless transmitters, I bought a Seismic Audio 3u case for about $140. The 3u case was OK but the latches didn't line up exactly. They still work but I thought it was kind of shoddy workmanship. When I needed another 3u case for a new set of wireless mics, a power supply, and an antenna panel I stumbled on these rack cases. When I looked at the images it appeared that they use the same stacking pattern as the Seismic Audio cases. I figured I'd give them a try. They do stack with Seismic Audio cases. They are almost identical with the exception of a different pattern on the front and back covers. All the hardware is exactly the same. The latches line up perfectly, and they are about $50 cheaper than the Seismic Audio cases. I wish I had discovered these in the first place. Oh, and for the guy that posted the review saying the screw holes on the back of the rack didn't line up with frame (mine did, BTW), just loosen the four screws at the corners and move the backing plates around.

Overall, the case is very nice, comparing to my more expensive case, that has the same locking mechanism, it’s really good quality, one thing is the hinges might not be as great as my more expensive brand. But overall, good for the price, and if it’s the price that your looking for go with these

Case is great! Nice and Sturdy... easy setup.

A couple of the screw holes didn’t line up perfectly, but with a little “persuasion” I was able to install my 4U of equipment just fine. Can’t be beat for the price.

I wanted a 6U rack for my Soundcraft UI24R since it's gets pretty hot. I wanted to make sure it has enough ventilation on the top & bottom. This track case is very well built & is as good quality as the expensive name brands.

Case, itself seemed sturdy. Latches appeared to be secured. Front mounting system aligned fine. Rear mounting system did not. If I did not have to use them, I would have kept the item. However, I needed to mount antenna extention plate on the rear. The misalignment prevented that from being possible.I reached out to the seller, prior to taking any other action. Seller advised to submit a return request.
