I rated this product very much.but unfortunately It required large kitchen rolls to work correctly, we only buy the small ones, so we returned the item,but very well made

Very easy to use quality is great

Really nice looking, really functional however the grip isn't sprung tight enough so you can't just pull on a sheet expecting the grip will hold tightly in place. You need to get the angle perfect for a one handed tear otherwise the grip will just pull back. It's still an upgrade on a bog standard holder but not perfect

Finally the tacky plastic paper towel holder broke. I have had that 'thing' for over 20 years, but now, I could purchase what I really wanted. Off to Amazon, and I perused the paper towel holders, I wanted one of the standing holders, and did I ever make the right purchase.The paper towel holder came in a standard package, encased in a plastic cover. A cardboard was folded around the holder. It took some scissoring to release the cardboard. Now, down to brass tacks. The towel holder is all one piece, nothing to assemble, read to use. I placed a full roll of paper towels in the holder. That was it. I can tear a single piece of paper towel or more, whatever you wish. The OXO paper towel holder stands firm, it is weighted, and it will not move or fall when you reach for a paper towel with one hand. Very efficient and easy to use, plus it is very attractive. It us on my counter, next to my sink, where it shall stay.Recommended. prisrob 05-13-16

This works fine with a new roll but once you get about halfway through the roll it doesn’t grip the roll so well and end up having to use both hands when it claims you only need one hand!!! It looks nice but that’s probably the best bit about it!!!

it works weel for when you only have one hand free to dispense the paper but it does take a little bit of practice to not pull of more than you need

This kitchen roll holder looks good but I didn’t like it because it’s too lightweight meaning it kept moving around especially as the roll got emptier. The arm that holds the kitchen roll in place isn’t strong enough. I do not recommend this and bought the Simplehuman version which is much heavier and performs better in my opinion.
