The year is 1987 and NASA launches the last of America's deep space probes. Aboard this small starship a lone astronaut, Captain William Buck Rogers. In a freak mishap Ranger 3 and its pilot are blown out of their trajectory into an orbit which freezes his life support system and returns Buck Rogers back to Earth 500 years later. Forced to readjust to a new world and its people who blame his generation for a nuclear holocaust which left the earth a radioactive wasteland. Buck is soon enlisted to help save the Earth from an alien threat, working with Colonel Wilma Deering and a robot-droid known as Twiki. They, roam space and planets to welcome back the lost and dispossessed. Buck Rogers in the 25th Century first hit the small screen in 1979 following the success of Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica. The picture quality is great and it was obvious, that, like Battlestar Galactica, a lot of money was spent on production of this series, as the sets and special effects are top notch for the time. You have to be of a certain age to appreciate it, but if like me, you love nostalgia and want to watch something that doesn't offend, then buy it and enjoy.

Brilliant.
Nice box set, there's the original opening credits that I'm not surprised made it to air. They have all episodes plus the ones put out as a double story. Although the ladies are scantily dressed they are still in command.

so glad this new set has the orginal 2 part episode to this series, and not the orginal set that came out with had just the film used as the first episode, really good condition and good to see the added original length episodes as well like the introduction to Hawk in the second series with the feature film and the orginal 2 part episode - as Hawk was always my favorite charater in the series, watching the series again because it has been awhile you can see why it finished after the second series, and forgot how awful the uniform outfits they had to wear in the 2nd series. My only moan is the way this new set has been packaged compaired to the orginal DVD set which had individual areas for the DVDs like a book form, which I have kept and put the news in plus one extra blank DVD for the seventh extra one in the series works and should keep the DVDs a longe life span, and not have to struggle getting the DVDs out with out breaking them.

Excellant Quality bluray set.
I had this set on DVD and i decided to buy it on bluray because i wanted to see if the picture quality was better than the previous DVD box set; I wasnt disapapointed one bit,the picture qulaity is far better than the DVD set and i liked it very much indeed; I highly reccommend fans of these seriesto rush out and buy this bluray box set asap!!

i watched this in my younger days and thoroughly enjoyed the series. this dvd set is excellent well worth the money spent.

El estado y la veracidad del producto.
Menos que no tuviera audio o subtitulos en Castellano... Todo lo demás me gustó. Aunque por la falta de dichos audios y subtitulos, se podía haber rebajado el precio en compensación.

Op jonge leeftijd was dit een van mijn favoriete series.. mag niet ontbreken. Dvd's van goede kwaliteit.. en nog steeds even geweldig om opnieuw re bekijken.

Due stelle per la consegna. Pacco strappato e custodie dei blu ray rotte. I dischi sembrano ok ma ho dovuto spendere altri soldi per delle custodie da tre dischi nuove.
