If you’re like me and have a teenager (or you’re just a fan of the "pimple patch aesthetic"), you know how expensive the name-brand star patches can be. This Dr. Zitacne pack is a massive 255-count set, which is significantly more patches for a fraction of the cost. How they Compare I was worried these might be "cheap" knockoffs that wouldn't actually heal anything, but they performed surprisingly well compared to the original Starface patches: Adhesion: These actually stay on better through the night. I’ve had the name-brand ones peel off on my pillow, but these are still firmly in place when I wake up. Hydrocolloid Quality: They do exactly what they’re supposed to do—pull out the gunk. You can see the patch turn white over the blemish, and by morning, the inflammation is way down. The Look: The yellow color is vibrant and the star shape is clean. They don't look like "fakes" once they're on your skin. Skin Sensitivity I have fairly sensitive skin, and some adhesives can leave a red ring behind. I didn't experience any irritation with these. They peel off easily without tugging at the skin, which is a big plus. Final Verdict If you’re buying these for the "cute" factor but want them to actually work, this is a perfect alternative. You get way more for your money without sacrificing the healing power of the hydrocolloid.

Love these pimple patches! I have an issue with picking at my face, and these have helped me so much with preventing that. I haven’t tried them over skin care, but am assuming they’re similar to other patches and wont adhere. Before applying I typically wash my face and dry it completely, apply the patches, and then apply the rest of my skin care around the patch. I have also applied them throughout the day without having washed my face right before (I have combination skin - so there were definitely oils) and they’ve worked great! I’ve worn them for hours, or even all night, and have had no issues with them coming off throughout the day or in my sleep! They also WORK. Every single time I’ve put them over a whitehead, I’ve taken it off and seen the whitehead left on the patch. It’s also been very effective with keeping me from touching spots on my face. They are really sticky, so most of the time it does rip the scab off if there is one, so I’d be mindful of that. For me, that’s still a benefit since it’s still keeping my fingers and tweezers out of the spot! I have also noticed it helps with healing, but am honestly not sure if that’s just because I’m not messing with the area like I normally would, or if it’s the patch itself. Overall, this product is a great value and definitely effective!

These star pimple patches are amazing! They help reduce redness overnight and make pimples less noticeable. Plus, they look cute while protecting the skin. Definitely a must-have!

I highly recommend these affordable, fun, cute, easy to use, soothing, and effective pimple patches! These patches soothe and shrink pimples, often after only 1 use. They also keep me from itching, popping, scratching and/or "picking at" pimples and making them worse, causing scarring, etc. They are fast and easy to apply and stay on well, even overnight. They do not fall off.

okay so i honestly just bought these to cover up my pimple but if the pimple has popped or has a openly they do a really good job at getting the puss and stuff out. you get alot of the pimple patches and they come in different sizes. my only complaint is that they don’t give you that many small ones. other than that i’d buy and they work way better than the actually starface ones. They also last you a while been on the same pack for about 3-4 months now i think. definitely reordering

This pimple parted stays on all day, I haven’t noticed it helps to much with inflammation, although if you need help with pain and inflammation you will need a micro needled pimple path, with this is not. All and all it helps to cover and prevent picking.

While I like the multiple sizes some of the small patches are simply too small to really be effective. I also struggled that sometimes I would have to use multiple patches on the same spot before it was effective. Overall not bad, especially for the cost and the number you get.

My twin teen girls love this product. They say it is sticky , stays on and really shrinks pimples and they are less irritating. Will be buying again. LOVE THE COLOURS!
