Great Presence Sensor
Some notes from my experience: 1. Very easy setup. 2. No connection issues, unlike every Matter sensor I have tried. From my experience, Matter devices routinely go offline and can be difficult to get back online again. 3. Very responsive, and you get some settings to customize, though I have had no need for that. When used to control room lights, the lights come on almost the moment you enter the room. With the Matter sensors I've tried, you can be to the middle of the room before the lights come on. 4. This is a true presence sensor. 5. You do not need the Treatlife app. This device is powered by Tuya and works just fine with the SmartLife app. The Treatlife app offers no functionality that SmartLife does not. 6. Has been working flawlessly for me. And the price is lower than the Matter sensors. What's not to like?

Seamless integration, as a trigger, for TreatLife smart switches
Mounting was seamless, be aware you need a USB-A brick or an outlet with USB-A female port. Setup was simple, TreatLife has come a LONG way from the first smart switch I purchased years ago. By the time you hit “+” in the SmartLife app, the device has already been discovered and the app retains the WiFi login credentials from your previously set up devices. We’re using the TreatLife motion sensor in the garage, when motion is sensed, it triggers the two garage light switches and turns them on. This allows full-light when arriving home at with the car or bicycles etc, and doesn’t leave us dependent on the anemic, pathetic, single LED light built into the garage door opener. You can park or walk in with ease and not have to get out, turn on the lights, get back in the car, finish your park and then turn off the lights before you leave. The lights are currently set to 15 minutes, and with no motion, turn off. Learning the various motion sensitivity settings will only make a perfect motion sensor, beyond perfect.

Too sensitive or not sensitive enough. Take your pick but there is no Goldilocks setting.
I wanted to use this device to turn lights on and off in a home office. I was unable to get it to work the way I wanted - either it was too sensitive and would turn on when nobody was even in the office, or it was not sensitive enough, and would turn off when working at my desk or reading. It doesn't help that that the app is a little inscrutable. You have settings between 1 and 5 for movement and another setting of 1 to 5 for micro movement. How are these things even different? No explanation for what they are. There is also a setting for the distance, in cm, that doesn't really work. I tinkered with these settings for weeks, and never got them to work properly. The lights would come on when I walked past a wall outside the office. Finally, last night, it was continually turning on and off while watching TV in an adjacent room - the two humans were will outside the 3.75m meter range, but the device went ahead doing its thing. That is where I gave up. This might work better in a really isolated area, but for me, it's not usable.

Would be a five star if.....
Great product, great quality! It was super simple to add in the Treatlife app and immediately was added to my Alexa system with the Treatlife skill. Had this up and running and writing routines in minutes. Only flaw for me was a minimum 10 second delay. One of the reasons I wanted a perimeter sensor as opposed to my old motion was speed. I don't like the delay in action such as turning on lights. Otherwise, this is a great value.

Great sensor!!!
I don’t understand why so many negative reviews when this sensor works like a charm. I have 5 of these around my house. Very accurate even behind obstacles like toilet seat or a shower glass. Doesn’t take much to fine tune. Rarely misses.

not the one you might be looking for
The TREATLIFE WiFi Presence Sensor promises smart motion detection with its 24G mmWave radar, but it falls short if you’re thinking about serious home automation. Out of the box, it works fine — it detects presence reliably and can trigger actions within the TREATLIFE ecosystem. But if you want to integrate it with Home Assistant or mix it with other smart devices, you’re out of luck. The sensor is locked to the TREATLIFE app, and it requires other TREATLIFE devices for full functionality. It’s decent for casual users who don’t mind staying inside one app, but for anyone building a custom smart home setup, this sensor quickly becomes frustrating.

My everything sensor
This is an incredible little device. This is the perfect addition to both home automation and security. It’s compact and inconspicuous. Besides being able to just detect presence, this allows you to see realtime info, has historical info and can be fine tuned for sensitivity. Completely compatible with Alexa so rather than telling Alexa to turn on and off, you can automate based on presence, so it’s turning things on when you in and off when you leave. It monitors active presence, distance from the sensor and length of time. I use one in my office primarily for security and secondary for the automation. If you have areas without cameras this is very useful to monitor activity. It come with a convenient adjustable stand and magnifying back for easy mounting or moving.

Works but I have a question.
I now have three, livingroom, kitchen and bathroom. All are integrated with Alexa are are working great for the most part. Sometimes, inexplicably they will either not turn on or not turn off. They tend to correct themselves on their own the next time I walk into or leave the area. My question is I haven't found a way to use illuminance to control the lights. When the luminance is > X I do not want the lights to turn on. However when the luminance is < X I do want the lights to turn on. How can I make this happen? I have researched for hours and not been able to find any information on how to make this work.
