I use the camera to monitor treats that I leave out for people to enjoy, and I want to identify if anyone is taking more than a reasonable share. It has worked great. The pictures I got were so clear I could be sure who everybody was.Directions for setting it up were easy to follow, even though this was my first experience with this kind of device.What was most impressive was the battery life. After a full week of monitoring, in a busy location, the battery still had more than half its original charge. I thought I would have to recharge it at best every couple of days, but it turned out to be a couple of weeks! I hope that strength lasts!It’s very small and light and I was able to stick it under a shelf using that clear magic tape they advertise on TV, so it was very unobtrusive. All in all, it’s surprising quality for such a low price.

I really like how small it is. I have very small hands and it fits in the palm of my hands. I love that it is totally wireless. It has a long battery life. I don’t have to keep charging it. I like that you can have different settings for the SD card readings on how long you want it to record, that way it doesn’t drain your battery. It was very easy to set up. I am so happy that there is an app accessible and most importantly, that there is a 1800 number that did help me when I got a little stuck when I was setting up the camera. It’s a great value for your money. It gives a great, clear picture in color. One thing that I do need to follow up on is how can the app send me push notifications when the camera senses someone in the room. I have not figured out that yet. Even though it is turned on. Thank you Kinet for such a great product and your customer service!

Update: This camera was delivered on August 6th, It is now, October 1 and the functionality of this camera has declined significantly. At least 60% of the time this camera WILL NOT RESPOND when I try to go to a live view. In other words, it doesn’t even perform its most basic task. I paid $20 for it so I suppose this reinforces the old adage that you get what you for.Older Review: I find this camera to be very glitchy and overall of low quality. When I contacted customer service because the camera kept saying that it was offline, I was told that I needed to put the camera “within 5 to 10 feet of my modem” which is ridiculous and would completely negate its usefulness. In fact what customer service said was not true. The camera does function when it is further away from the modem, it just doesn’t function consistently. It randomly goes offline and is constantly difficult to get connected for a simple live picture. It also goes into “sleep” mode at some predetermined time (determined by the company/device) and there is no apparent way to take it out of sleep mode. It does pick up on some motion in the room but not all of it and it has never notified me of activity.All of that being said, my needs are rudimentary and this camera, with all of its faults, does manage to help me, with some manipulation, with my needs about 70% - 75% of the time. I only paid around $20 for it so I decided to keep it. At some point I will likely buy a much better product.

I prefer keeping plugged in but they work great and have 4 hooked up throughout my house since I own two puppies. Sometimes it takes a bit to reach the internet and I have to keep refreshing and sometimes unbind them and rebind them. My suggestion is to sync the device ID’s of each camera to the account that we have to make so when unbinding to connect to a new WiFi, it’s easy to pull down vs having to unhook each camera to scan the QR code. Outside of that, great visual and audio quality. UHD mode vs FHD is that UHD has a widescreen look and picture quality is better. Perhaps next model, put a usb port do storage to a flash drive or to use a usb to Ethernet adapter for stronger internet connection. Other than that, greet device. Handheld and runs on battery for about 4 hours of sleep/wake which is nice if you’re in a jam and you just place it somewhere andThe camera and its app does the rest

If you're looking for a good, quality, small and portable camera to put anywhere in your home to monitor your home and pets, this one is worth it. I bought this for my peace of mind to keep an eye on my fur babies and I'm glad I got this camera. It's portable and easy to set up. It connects to your home's WiFi network and that's it. Completely wireless! You can monitor the video from an app on your phone. Good live video and quality. It is rechargeable and battery life up to 100-120 days depending on your video settings.

It works well, and is a great price. It's great to see the live feed on your phone. That way you can make sure you've properly positioned the camera. On the app, there is even a zoom feature - a pleasant surprise. Within days of purchase, I received an email with a sizeable user manual PDF. Which is great because you can zoom to read it more easily and search for keywords on the computer. They also sent a link to FAQs and they have regular business hours for phone support (which I didn't have a need to call).The things I didn't like..When connected to a computer, typically a camera behaves as another hard drive and you can copy videos, delete from the camera etc. You cannot do that with this camera. So to delete from the SD card, you have to remove it and use your computer. Video lengths are super short in the settings, like 10 seconds, 15, 30, 60 seconds...OR 24 hours! I think choices for 3 minutes and 5 minutes would make more sense and just get rid of the 24 hour option as it would be too large to edit or copy. Perhaps a firmware update will allow these options.The sides of the camera are a black matte finish, but the front is a shiny black finish. The shine makes it more likely to be noticed. A totally black matte finish would be ideal.Issues aside, I'd still recommend it.
