Does this life vest have a tag indicating that it is u s coast guard “approved” or “certified ”?

It would be helpful if they disclosed that this vest is not Coast Guard approved. The CE certification is not recognized in the U.S. I believe that is a diversion to sell their vests. I'm asking for a refund. Stay tuned.

Will it inflate if you wear it in the rain automatically

No you have to pull the cord. I have had mine totally submerged and it did not inflate.
