Rewalked and updated in 2023, this guide covers the islands of Skye and Raasay. The mountains on Skye are justly famous and whilst this guide doesn't include the serious mountain routes it does feature climbs up some of the lower hills as well as dramatic coastal walking on the two islands. The 31 walks featured range from three quarters of a mile to 10 miles (1.2-16km) and includes the dramatic route through the astonishing rock formations of the Quiraing, the classic glen walk from Sligachan to Glen Brittle in the shade of the Cuillin ridge; Neist Point, the Fairy Pools and the climb up Dùn Caan on Raasay as well as gentler paths around the islands. Route descriptions are accompanied by 2-colour sketch maps. Buono spunto per le escursioni
Nel complesso il prodotto rende l'idea delle escursioni più importanti che si possono fare sull'isola di Skye. Fornisce anche delle indicazioni sulla difficoltà dei vari percorsi ed una breve descrizione degli stessi (lingua inglese). Per le escursioni di grado A/A+ è certamente da affiancare ad una mappa "Landranger Map" o "Explorer Map", per quelle più semplici è pienamente sufficiente. Si rimane un po' delusi dalla dimensione del libricino, in realtà assomiglia più ad un opuscolo, però il suo compito lo svolge bene e mi è stato molto utile per capire quali escursioni valeva la pena fare e quali lasciare indietro.

Je m'apprête à partir faire un road trip en Ecosse et la collection "Walks" est parfaite. C'est vraiment un bon investissement, c'est peu cher et l'envoi est rapide.

I think it could be useful for all walkers , but there aren't any Munro path nor any suggestions about them

Very practical guide!
Very practical guide to walk around the Isle of Skye. From short strolls along the beach to day long hikes, the descriptions are clear and make paths easy to find (very usefull, as you don't always have signs...). I used it also as a guide to interest points. The only thing I would add is the walk duration, as you have a distance but no walking time in the description.
