Ghost Liners

So much nostalgia from Middle School reading this book!
Believe I paid 3$ for a “used, like new” hardcover book. Was slightly disappointed to see two of the pages had a bit of a fold, no tearing though, so that’s good at least. But considering the price, and the prompt shipping / delivery, I cannot really complain or deduct stars. Ken Marschall’s amazing paintings in this book brought my straight back to when I was 11 or so reading this book for the first time. Recommended for any ocean liner enthusiast who enjoys a light read.

Glad to finally own
This was one of my favorite books as a kid; I'd check it out from a public library and my school library all the time.It introduces several of the 20th century's most well known shipwrecks, an overview of their histories, the events surrounding their demise and the search for their final resting place. It is also filled with great photographs as well as beautiful illustrations by the talented Ken Marschall.Highly recommended for an ocean liner enthusiast of any age.

Interesting Summary of Sea Disasters
The photographs are good as are the stories but each one is all too brief leaving readers desiring much more.

An Excellent and Interesting Resource for Young Researchers
I first read this book at the age of 12 or so, and it has long been one of my favorites. It is an educational and well presented "Here's what happened," book about several great sea liners lost to the sea. I recently bought it on a whim, and 10 years after first reading, it is still an interesting and fascinating read.

Okay.
The contents of the book look good but the condition is disgusting for supposedly being in 'good' condition. I had dirty fingers from handling the book for a few minutes, the edges of the pages are orange-tinted, the corners of a lot of the pages were bent, and a few pages look as if a child had wiped snot on it. So if you are willing to clean the book it's ok but not the thing I wanted to see before lunch.
