My previous blender was a Kitchen Aid and it was horrible. In less than a year, it was having issues from a poor design, and it was so heavy. This blender is not too heavy or big, but is very versatile and does everything I need. Oster is a very solid brand. I'm so glad I was able to find an Oster blender on Amazon.

So glad to find a blender with glass container! Thank You! Even Vitamix does not offer this option. Power very good. Machine has a quality feel and looks good. I bought a second glass container just in case there is ever an accident and there is a chip/crack or it breaks, but doing so was not expensive and worth the security. But I don't think the potential for that happening is great, and it is well worth it using a natural material.

This item is glass and allows you to avoid the contamination you get when you use plastic blenders. It is also many times easier to clean than "filmy". Most of all the price can't be beat. Great product.

At first I thought it was going to be too small and underpowered, but was I surprised! This little gem does a better job than my big old Ninja. Highly recommend this product.

This is 1000 watts not 700watts as advertised.

The blender works fine, but the little black feet on it leave marks on the countertop. Repeatedly having to clean these off is a pain.

I started looking into glass blenders as I was concerned about micro plastics leaching into food. I found a blender that had an Italian design and looked good but made a terrible grinding noise and left chunks of fruit under the blade. I hated using it. This glass blender by Oster is a classic beauty and it does the job in relative quiet. I use it at the lowest setting for smoothies and cooked vegetables for soup. Easy to clean with just hot water.
