This is by far the most comfortable office chair that I've ever owned or sat in. I've owned quite a few office chairs. Some big and comfy, some new ergonomic designs, some super expensive, others supplied by my employer, and even 2 other/prior Serta chairs. This, by far beats them all. I first purchased this chair for my wife in her office. She's of average size as well, but she always felt like she was being swallowed by some of the larger, more cushiony office chairs. She wanted to be comfortable, but didn't want to drown in the chair. I purchased this chair for her and she absolutely loves it. It's been a year now, and it's holding up well, looks great, and she has zero complaints. Which brings me to my personal purchase for myself. I'm average size. A little bulky, but not too big. I've been through so many chairs. They all feel great initially, but after a lot of use, I felt uncomfortable, or fatigued from sitting, and even sore. I have some lumbar back issues, and my tail bone occasionally gets sore if I sit too long, especially if I slouch over time. I was ready to buy a new chair, and it takes me forever to decide, however I do really like my wife's chair. So I purchased this chair for myself. I must say, that this chair is the best that I've used. It's not huge. You wouldn't be too comfortable trying to nap in it. But for sitting and working? It's amazing. Perfect lumbar support, super soft on the butt without swallowing you, and keeps you straight, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this product.

This chair is truly life-changing. I was having lower back, glute and hamstring issues from my old chair, but the Serta Bryce feels like sitting on a cloud. The seat cushion and back support is amazing. Assembly was pretty straightforward but having a 2nd pair of hands really helps. I'm so glad I bought this. The price was very fair for the quality of this chair. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Comfortable chair for the office. Easy to assemble. Only complaint is that the material started to tear away at the seams after a few months. Other than that, it is nice!

Serta quality and comfortable for office use only, casual home use isn't the same... the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for ergonomics is that if you are not sitting upright in "office mode" and you want to slouch and relax, the seat makes you feel like you are always sliding forward in the chair? I assume that is because it's an "ergonomic" chair, but it is well built and worth the price in my opinion. ***Updated addition; after using the chair to work from home & casual use, it is still annoying to feel like it tilts forward unless you are sitting up perfectly straight! I have also noticed that if you get up or reposition yourself (due to the forward sliding) the seat height resets itself back up to the top!? So when you sit back down you have to lower the seat again... my last Serta chair never had these issues!! For the price point, this shouldn't be a chair I will be replacing after a few months - but not with another Serta! ****Second update = now 1 star! (Chair still looks new, I only work from home 1 day a week, and take great care of my things so there is no damage or even usage wear) After trying to make the best of this chair, it is even more annoying to use.. it now "groans" when any movement rocking back or forth... it still feels like it is forcing you to slide forward and feels like the chair wants your to fall out! Leaning back doesn't stay (no adjustment to keep from "leaning forward") so no matter what I do, I hate sitting in this chair more every day... and now I am very worried about buying another chair blind online! ***Serta should recall this chair! *****Third update = Chair still looks and feels brand new, but now randomly will make weird creaking and groaning noises with every movement and as an added bonus it randomly just sinks to the lowest level without warning!!! Typing away and it just starts sinking until it hits bottom! I don't know how an expensive chair could be so awful!!

I was using the same $75 office chair for the last 4 years working from home. It was literally on its last legs. After lots is searching and comparing, I settled on this chair for my replacement. When I tell you I DID NOT REALIZE how much I hurt sitting in that old chair! I have had this about 2 months now and so far no issues. It is a bit difficult to put together if you don’t have someone to help you but once things are in place they stay. I was able to select the height I wanted and it has not moved since. I have not noticed it making any noise other than the noise you would expect it to make when rolling on a hard floor. The color is decent. I wanted a different color but that one was going to take 2 weeks to get to me and I needed this the next day. I’m hoping this will last at least 5 years.

I am so disappointed in Serta I had one of their chairs years ago and I have always bragged about how nice it looked and how comfortable it was. Sadly this chair is a mess of dents dings, terrible finish work, and some kind of oil or grease scrapped into most of the painted pieces. I got a great deal at 25% off and I can see why the quality is terrible even for that kind of money even. This is easily an Amazon chair with a brand name. In all it took me maybe 20 min tops to assemble, the directions are very well written and essay to follow and even goes so far as to explain the features of the chair such as how to operate each of the levers. However, the hardware packaging is another story the insert with all the letters telling you which bolt is which is backwards, be careful to open it backwards or the bolts all fall out. The directions did also note 2 people are recommended but at no point did I feel need another hand. The feel is really rigged with padding at the shareholder blades for some reason, very uncomfortable. The arms are worse they have a nice style and nice cushion but they're angled slightly inward at the end so they end up pushing your legs together just enough to likely be uncomfortable and down right annoying. The tilt is very nice however the locking lever doesn't seem to work to prevent it or lock it into place just does nothing. The rubber/plastic trim that covers the bolt holes in the arms don't fit they are too short so after the plugs on it are pushed into their holes they slowly contract till they are just hanging there. The chair looks great from a distance but the wavy scratched paint is obvious once you get closer as well as the strips coming off each arm so if you're trying to keep a nice office and need a chair maybe look elsewhere. I would love to return it if i had the patience to drive the hour to a location that will except a package this large (middle of nowhere in the N. Western US). Again I am very disappointed in this product and I doubt I will return to Serta in the future. One last note I did also add skate wheels to it which elevated it a tad and I highly recommend them, the gray wheels it came with are cheap plastic and would have likely eat my carpet if I had used them.

Product arrived as described. I am 47, 5'9" and 195 lbs. I suffer from lower back pain. I am a graphic designer that spends hours in front of the computer. I purchased a less expensive chair, but it made my back feel like it was on fire and I was hobbling around the home like an elderly man. It wa sa gaming chair, with a cool look, but horribly uncomfortable—about $75 less than this chair. I decided on Serta due to the brand recognition and quality of build. The chair arrived without blemish. It's very easy to assemble, taking me about 20 mins. I am very pleased with the look and quality of the leather. The seat cushion and back rest is quite comfortable. Firm, but soft, not too firm, but not too soft. I spend long hours at my desk and so far my back feels great. No burning, no hobbling. It's worth the extra $50-100 in cost. Happy customer.

Too expensive for what it is. Is it comfortable? Certainly. Everything works well until it breaks. Less than 2 years is too short for a $300 chair to last. I've had $99 chairs last twice as long. One of the armrest/back assembly braces just snapped. I'm 245 pounds and I don't abuse the chair. Also, once the pleather starts peeling, it peels quickly. I just covered the seat portion with genuine leather and it's more comfortable and now much more resistant to wear and tear. I guess next up is to trace the pattern of the armrest/back assembly pieces and make them out of plywood... Or have some real fun sand-casting them. Oh and it's absolutely worth mentioning that the top seat back bolt holes weren't properly aligned and stripped out when assembling. How am I sure I didn't crossthread them? Because they don't align center with the armrest brackets.

Très satisfait de mon achat. La marque SERTA a joué dans mon choix final et je ne l'ai pas regretté. Le support lombaire est parfait et pour travailler de longues heures à l'ordinateur, c'est un critère à ne pas négliger. Je vous recommande fortement cette chaise.

Un día en la mañana de casualidad entre y la vi en $500 pesos, no lo creí y me arrepiento de haber solo comprado una; los materiales se sienten muy bien, la silla es realmente comoda, tenemos mas de 3 meses usandola y los cojines no se han deformado, solos el plástico de los brazos no se ve tan bien pero se sienten resistentes. Muy sencilla de armar.

La compre en el 2019, me costo 7 mil pesos mexicanos, pero en un año ya estaba descarapelada toda, si es muy cómoda pero no es de cuero genuino, es sintético. Veo el costo actual de 12 mil y por esa cantidad puedes comprar algo mucho mejor en piel genuina y mayor calidad en acabados.

Awesome office chair. Well made and easy to put together

Not perfectly happy but will keep this chair. Package arrived on time and without damage of any sort. Assembly was simple with good instructions. Quality of materials seems appropriate for this price range. This chair tempted me as soon as I saw it (I'm a sucker for good design). For my body type (I'm 5' 8" and 145 lbs) the chair is very comfortable for bum, back and arms. As I do a lot of reading at my computer, I need soft and relatively substantial armrests which this chair has. My only disappointment is that the headrest is too far back and as it is not adjustable, for me it's really of little use unless I add a pillow and slide my bum forward. I live in a smallish town so couldn't test a lot of chairs in person so did what research I could online and then ordered through Amazon. My first choice had to be returned (uncomfortable). If you live in a larger city and can shop in person, I'd certainly recommend doing that regardless of who you buy from.
