Excellent so far
Bought this for taking timed pictures on my cannon T6i rebel whilst fishing alone and I think it’s great.Needed 25 seconds after activating timer to get around the front of camera to hold up fish and then set it to take 3 pictures 4 seconds apart. Worked a charm.Easy to set up and worked flawlessly when I used it first time out. Great bit of kit

Nice little Intervalometer for the price.
The device comes with a 2.5mm jack. I had a 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable on another cable release that fitted it to my cameras' mic sockets. It worked automatically on my Pentax K-70 but I couldn’t initially work out why it wouldn’t activate on my Pentax KP. A search of the manual led me to change the setting on the camera to “cable release” rather than "mic". The “auto” setting should have picked up the device but didn’t. So if you initially have an issue, this could be the starting point for you. As mentioned by someone else, Youtube videos on intervalometers will be easier to understand than the manual, it is really simple.

I got this for my Canon. It's cheap but NOT nasty and does as it says on the tin.It also works well on my full frame Nikon, just had to buy the short connector lead between the timer and camera (about £5), There are 4 camera connection options available on amazon

About the 3rd or 4th one I've bought
This must be either the 3rd or 4th intervalometer that I've purchased in the last 5 years. For the money, you can't really complain... cheap Chinese cr@p that works, but don't expect it to last. I've used these units with various Canon EOS cameras and they seem to work ok. The menus are easy to navigate through once you programme it once or twice. I use them mainly for time-lapse work on building sites with a DSLR. The problem usually comes with the battery terminals which are cheap thin steel that rusts out if you leave the batteries installed (see image). I'll give this one 12 months, 18 at the most.
