I have a difficult time with most of the popular chemical sunscreens out there. After an hour or so I always end up with a headache and feeling sick. I've tried a couple of other brands of mineral sunscreens but they have not been that great. They were thick and difficult to apply. This is easy to apply, doesn't make me sick, and seems to work great. It does leave a bit of a white film no matter what I do, but not as bad as the others I've tried.

The sunscreen works pretty well and doesn’t leave a white caste. The only critique I’ve is that sometimes it feels a little oily but just subdue after a few mins. It works great under makeup as a “primer”

It works. It effectively protects against sunburns, but only if you have the time and patience to rub it in. This is a strange texture. It seems to absorb decently on skin that is totally hair-free, but if there are any hairs, it streaks and clots. Takes forever to rub it in. Will not be purchasing again.

Wow. Worst sunscreen I've ever tried to use. I really can't tell you if it worked, because I literally could not get it on. It is so thick and so difficult to rub in I gave up after one arm. I do not have dark thick hair. I have blondish finer hair. It clumped up and dried out before I could work it in. It hurt to try to rub it in any further. I've used other mineral sunscreens, and I know they are harder to get smooth and not leave a white cast. But there were clumps of white material left with this product. No. Nada. Terrible for me.

I like that this is EWG rated safe and effective. It is very thick and difficult to spread evenly. It goes on looking white, but quickly melts into your skin and is pretty much invisible. I have mixed it with another tinted mineral sunscreen and that works well. It may help to add a bit of almond or any pure plant oil to help it spread.

Enjoyed using this over the summer knowing that I wasn’t just loading up on chemicals. It apply thicker than other sunscreens but rubs in well and doesn’t have a strong scent.

It's a good sun cream, but it's too thick and leaves a white residue on the skin.

good to use any apply. not greasy and goes a long way. I wanted to use something that did not sink into my skin. did not want to get into the body and this fit the bill. very nice quality

Listen, I don’t usually leave reviews for things but for this product I have too it’s truly amazing if you have sensitive skin like me and you can’t just pick up and use any product without breaking out this sunscreen is for you trust me I have been looking for years for a sunscreen that doesn’t break me out leaving me with rashes all over my body my skin would itch and literally feel like it’s on fire and I would have to jump in a cold shower to help finally someone told me to try this product I figured it would be like all the rest and break me out but something told me give it a shot so I bought and made sure to keep the package nice cause like all the others if it don’t work I’m getting my money back anyways I did my patch test like I do with all things right before bed and to my surprise I didn’t break out I was shocked and thought it was too good to be true so I tried again but on my face cause that would really break out and again nothing at all I was actually shocked that it worked and didn’t break me out I will say it does leave a slight white cast but if you blend it in enough it’ll barely be noticeable I can’t wait to use this on vacation it will be the first time I don’t burn I’m soo happy I finally found this it’s about to be a great summer

One of the worst sunscreen I’ve ever used. it leaves a mild white cast and is hard to apply evenly, feels heavy and sticky, gives very bad feeling, even not blending with moisturiser. After a few seconds it gets dry and hard and not letting it to be rubbed on the skin! If you can’t apply it, who cares about its protection!

So, they say the best sunscreen is one you will wear. Unfortunately, this sunscreen is not that. It is highly rated by the EWG sunscreen rating organization for health and safety and it definitely works well and is environmentally friendly. I was happy to support a Canadian brand. The problem is that it is so thick and sticky and white that it gets all over your clothes and takes forever to rub on. I used it once, but won’t again.

I have tried many sunscreens, and this one has to be the worst I’ve ever tried. It’s so thick, doesn’t spread easy, dries too fast so it ends up pilling on your skin as you try to rub it in, it leaves a heavy white cast on your skin. I have very fair skin and burn easily so have become a pro at applying sunscreen to avoid burns and have been burnt twice since using this sunscreen because it’s so hard to apply evenly. I cannot recommend this sunscreen to anyone.
