I love this book. It has helped me start to rebuild my self-esteem, self-confidence, and self worth. I love the fact the quotes come from a lot of”powerful” women in this world and the back stories that come with the quotes. A must read for any woman who is struggling with these issues. I write some of the affirmations on my dry erase board that hangs on my refrigerator. That way, I will always see them. One of the best books out there. I Highly recommend this book. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Luv this little funny book

As someone well into their senior years and who has had a voracious passion for reading for more than 7 decades, my interests have ranged from A to Z, from the scientific to the esoteric, and from the classics to poetry. This is why when I saw this 220-page soft cover book (Badass affirmations: The wit and wisdom of wild women by Becca Anderson) on Amazon I decided to purchase it.This interesting and unique book is not only about the way affirmations can improve your life in so many ways, but also includes numerous quotes and short biographies of many famous and infamous women.The material in this volume includes the following: “All about affirmations, how to use this book, so what are the quotes for, Journaling to get you started, what’s wrong with being confident, all’s fair in love and lust, stay beautiful, inside and out, do you work here, ohana means family, you are unstoppable and journaling.”I found this book to be an interesting and for the most part an enjoyable read. There are numerous quotes from a whole host of amazing women such as Elizabeth 1, Emily Dickinson, Rose Kennedy, Mae West, Victoria, Queen of England, Grandma Moses, Ayn Rand, Hannah Arendt, Helen Keller, Agatha Christie, Maya Angelou, Barbara Bush, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, and many other wonderful intelligent women.You do not have to be a woman to appreciate and enjoy this book. Anyone who loves quote and affirmation type books will appreciate the words of wit and wisdom this book contains.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. I ordered this to place in a gift basket but then I glanced at it and had to order one for myself. It's a great inspirational affirmation book with just enough fun facts about the remarkable women behind the words to give the quotes even more oomph.

A book my daughter enjoyed

You read awesome stories about awesome women. Some who started as common girls. Really inspiring.

I bought this for my mom who found out she had cancer, it was uplifting for her to read and she loved it! She said it was the greatest gift for this time, she is now cancer free!
