I had some difficulty the first time around, because I was new to this world of laser engraving. It turns out I just needed some more support and Longer customer service provided this to me - something no other company on Amazon has ever done! After having the extra support, I was able to make the exact design I wanted in the exact way I wanted. It looked more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and a family member bought it from me. Then, using another product from Longer, I was able to make something even more spectacular, and I sold it online for more than the Longer machine had costed me. Now, I am not only enjoying my life with Longer products, but I am using their products to make money and have a happier life. I kind of feel like - thanks to Longer, their equipment, and their incredible support staff - I am finally living my best life. Quite simple, this is the best company (with the best products) that I have ever done business with on Amazon!

I first bought the Longer Ray10w laser, but it didn’t do well with small fonts under 12 pts(kept it for doing cuts and larger designs), so I knew I needed something for finer details. I found this one, and it was exactly what I needed at a great price. I’m honestly so happy with it—it works great, and it looks awesome next to my space gray MacBook Pro. Plus, it’s super lightweight and doesn’t take up much space at all. I did run into an issue that Amazon couldn’t (or willing to) help with, and was told to reach out to the brand. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they were amazing. They really went out of their way to help me, and it felt like they genuinely cared about making sure I was satisfied. When I couldn’t get through on the phone, they called me back—without me even leaving a message. That kind of service really impressed me!

Longer provided excellent customer service. They addressed my issues promptly - offered helpful usage suggestions and even offered to make updates on their app to meet my engraving needs. This was so important especially for first time beginner engraver like myself. Highly recommend their products.

This laser was the foundation I started my laser engraving business with. It’s the perfect size for key chains, slate coasters, flasks, wallets, and business cards and it’s relatively quick. Not to mention it’s super portable, perfect for craft fairs too. It was very easy to understand and the color coded wires made assembly very quick. I highly recommend recommend it as a safe start/investment. Just remember to treat it with care and ensure you use a surge protector in case of a storm that passes through your area. However the support team was great! Within a day or two I was able to get quick responses so speak about possibly using warranty or having my laser serviced.

Sometimes I get tired of doing coasters and key fobs with butterflies and unicorns. This is a laser! Let's do some industrial stuff! It's only 12 watts, so it's limited on what it can cut, and it won't engrave bare aluminum. But... it's portable. You can take it outside. You can engrave things that won't fit on your table. Need to put a serial number on that stainless muffler or fancy titanium thingy? No problem. You can't directly etch a circuit board with it... it's just not strong enough to work on copper. But it does a nice job burning away some spray paint resist. A quick wipe with alcohol and I'm ready for chemical etching. I had some issues with one of the connectors early on, but customer service was great. New part sent out the next day. It's great fun! Sure, it's a laser... you could put you eye out. But think of the fantastic eye patches you could make!

The free LaserGRBL software that comes with it is decent, but if you're new to laser engraving, expect to spend some time figuring things out. Overall, this engraver is great for the price, but better documentation would make the experience much smoother.
