So this gives the childs phone great protection, yes it has been dropped from a top bunk onto a hard floor. The case fits the Pixel 8a perfectly. The only downside to the case is that under heavy phone use the case seems to retain heat on the phone causing the phone to overheat.

Very good impact protection but...
The impact protection works very well. But! The rubber doesn't seal very well, especially the top half, and dust and grit will get in at the sides. The case is tight enough to grind the grit into the phone leaving lots of marks. You need to regularly remove the case to clean out the dirt.

WONDERFUL case I wanted to replace a previous case that I had for my Pixel 8A that was very dirty and messed up this product is a breeze to install (any idiot can do it) it works with a screen protector (not included) while I have yet to drop my phone since buying this case I do feel it offers a great level of drop protection it is not too big and fits in your hand VERY well the price is right and it doesn't get caught up in my pocket like other cases
