Juki walking foot
Installed on a Juki walking foot sewing machine that I was using for some automotive upholstery. The original motor worked fine but was loud and did not give me the speed control I needed. I wanted to upgrade my power some too, because I could...After shopping and researching and finding little to no information, I came across this motor and decided to give it a shot. I do not regret it!For little money I got a light weight motor that bolted right to my existing holes and was pretty much plug and play. I was able to install it myself in about 30 minutes and didn't require a different belt, although I might go down one size when it is time to replace it.It is silent when turned on which is amazing after using the clutch motor. This is the best upgrade for the money, to any industrial machine. Its super light weight and easy to program and use.

Sewing machine motor
The motor works great on the sewing machine. But the directions to Program Is Unit are Incorrect As P5 Did Not Want to Come Up on the screen. Rather it came up right away as you hit the program button, you might want to have these directions changed. Or Perhaps include the correct directions for this unit.

Easy upgrade
This is a great replacement for the clutch type motor. I can have nice smooth and slow stitching with more precision. I do not need the smaller pulley. I have a Juki from like the 80s, and it's almost a direct bolt in. I had to replace the original bolts with shorter metic bolts. The bolts in the box so not match the threads of my old machine.Overall, In very pleased and will adjst later. The only negative is the instructions are torn a little. The instructions do not show how to install. The old motor is really heavy.

Secret to sewing “control your machine”
Easy to install, runs great you can control your machine. Makes sewing much easier. I recommend any one with a clutch motor to change it out. You can’t beat the price.

Best motor but could be a bit better
I would say pretty good motor as is best out there. If it could run at slower speed would be perfecto. Or have option with smaller pulley at list.Good job on simplyfying speed controller. So easy to set it up.

Servo Motor replacement for the Clutch Motor
Servo Motor is 1) very lightweight, 2) absolutely silent when powered on, 3) +/- speed controls, 4) did have to purchase a smaller length v-belt to fit the machine, 5) easy to install.Love it so far!!!

I want to love it. I really do. But the pulley they used is ruining everything
It is good. 750W is more than enough to drive almost any type of industrial sewing machine, except for maybe super heavy types (but even then I was able to stitch almost an inch of leather on old harness stitcher). Would've been nice if you were able to go lower than 200rpm on the motor, but being able to stay at just 200rpm (as in 200rpm not being just a startup speed, while actual speed is 500rpm and it starts at 200) would've been better. But what is gamebreaking for any machine that does not have an extremely big handwheel pulley (9-10+ inches) and only regular one around 3"+- is that this motor uses different (non-standard) type of tapered bore pulley which makes it almost impossible to change pulley on the motor to different size (tapered from 1/4" to 7/16" approximately). Thus you cannot go to any hardware store and buy a standard regular bored pulley of a smaller diameter than the 3' one that comes with the motor. And for any normal machine that would be a game-breaking problem as your only solution to slow it down would be to get a speed reducer - a much more pricier option than just one smaller pulley.
