Great battery replacement for my garage door opener. Works as expected

Needed to replace the battery that came with the security panel. Easy to install and much cheaper than having it replaced by the installer.

Works great at a fanatastic price.

These are batteries for my house alarm. They last a long time and are very reliable.

This goes in an existing alarm system that was complaining of weak backup battery. Replacing it resolved the message. Four stars as not sure of longevity but expect it to last at least two. Will be 5 stars if lasts for a few years like the last one; will update accordingly in the future.

I bought 2 of these to replace the backup batteries in my Chamberlain overhead garage door openers. The terminals were a little smaller but still worked. They came charged up to 12.8v which is fully charged and they were manufactured within the month and came from fresh stock. Once installed they only took 5 minutes to show charged (to 13.2v) on the door displays. Of course, it's going to take some time to evaluate how long they last but for now I'm impressed with the delivery, quality and performance so far. There are literally TONS of these batteries in the 5ah format. These Interstate batteries are worth a little more for the reputation alone. I've bought so many Interstate batteries over the last 35 years I didn't even need to think about it.

This battery is the exact replacement for my Genie garage door opener. After 2-1/2 years, I only found out that my original battery was dead (it still measured 13 volts) and I couldn't electronically open my door during a power outage. The Genie manual states that only their battery can be installed and that others may not work. When I removed my old battery, I noticed it was the same manufacturer/model as this battery. I wanted to replace it with a lithium battery as it will last longer but after researching, I found out that most garage door openers will not recharge lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. After installing and recharging for 48 hours, my door opens with the new battery. I now know to test it monthly as stated in the opener instructions.

My second battery for my house alarm. Last one went 4 years before I needed to replace it. If this one lasts half as long I will be happy.
