Is this thing perfect? No, but pretty great for what it is! I haven’t used a sewing machine in years. It was pretty easy to get started. Figuring out the tension of the thread at the tension knob is a bit tricky, I’m not sure if it’s something I need to get used to or if it’s faulty. Also the stitching was very loose my first couple of goes, after some experimenting it seems to have helped to tighten the tension knob. There’s no reverse stitching as far as I can tell so that’s a bummer- I was always taught to do a reverse stitch to secure the end so I’m experimenting with that as well. I mean I’m not too surprised you get one option of low or high speed and that’s it in terms of stitch customization. It’s nowhere near as smooth as a normal sewing machine but for a beginner or someone wanting a portal option it’s amazing! So tiny and so light I’m really impressed that it works so well. Great tutorials and really nice accessories, I love the little kit and fabric squares it comes with! Even the cardboard box it comes in with a little handle is great and the adorable little table has measurement marks which is cool. Oh, the power cord is comically short, I happen to have an outlet that’s table height and even with that I had to scooch it right next to the wall to reach. So be prepared to either use an extension cord or switch out the power cord for a longer one, It is a dc 6vA1. Anyway ultimately with my frequent travel and just getting back into sewing I’m very happy with this purchase !

Arrived quickly and well packaged. It was very lightweight and the machine appeared to be very solid. I was very impressed with it. Due to some of the smaller accessories, I would not recommend it for a young child, but for an older child, it is perfect. This sewing machine kit was donated for a church raffle. It was a big hit with the kids! I would definitely buy again.

I used it to repair a few pieces of clothing right away and it worked beyond my expectations. It's small and takes up very little space, yet it can do complex sewing. I used it to fix my child's school uniform last week and it was easy to use and the seams were very strong. I highly recommend it!

It is very easy to operate and you can quickly get started even if you have no sewing experience. It is also small and light, and easy to store without taking up space. It is really great!

I love the size and portability! And perfect for a starter sewing machine! Was truly surprised at how well it was made! Definitely would recommend. Also, I absolutely love all the fabric and things that came with it. Perfect for beginners to practice with! Only down side is the threading is a little complicated for young sewers, so may need some adult help with that. Thankfully, the directions were fairly easy to understand.
