Now when the box was delivered I knew I was going to be disappointed by this product because of the weight of the box.Let me start off by saying it looks exactly like the photos on Amazon.Upon opening the box I soon realised that this was not going to be as sturdy as I was hoping for however maybe my expectations are too high?I would say the my biggest grievance about this is the top! Not very good in thickness and I dread to think what is under the covering, YES, that’s right it is not even solid wood. I cannot speculate what the wood is however the covering is like that we would cover our school books in.Now as for the sturdiness of it, I certainly would not put any weight on the table other than maybe a cup of tea, the remote control and a book. DO NOT put your weight on it as it will collapse and injure you “probably” .On the plus side, it is light and easy to move for elderly people. And the leaf pattern is nice.

When assembled, the tables look okay however the top of the table is poor. It appears to be similar to sticky back plastic which had not been stuck down properly. Also the holes to screw the top down do not align therefore the top does not fit on squarely. After some alterations, I have managed to get the tables to a reasonable appearance. Although they were quite inexpensive, I would have expected a better attempt at applying the sticky back plastic.

Not good at all, the metal bits weren’t straight so the wooden top doesn’t sit straight either, the legs were covered in paint from the gold they sprayed on the leaves, very poor Quality, got in contact with amazon who said it had to go though the seller and never heard any more,

This coffee table is perfect for slipping next to sofa and it’s lovely quality and so easy to build took 5 minutes and I love finished product great value for money

Even though, in the end, I found it quite easy to assemble this table, there were two elements that needed some thought. The first was the vague instructions which took a little working out, while the second was fitting the table top, which was fiddly. I found that the best way get around this was to use some blue tac to hold the small, self-tapping screws in place, then partly screw them directly in to the table top without the frame to create the thread. After that, it was easy to complete the process.The finished table is very nice. It's quite sturdy, versatile and looks pretty good for an inexpensive sort of a thing. The elderly person to whom I gave it as a gift was very pleased with it and uses it all the time.

This is a very cheap looking side table, with corners that are razor sharp, so please be careful. I specifically bought this as a bed-side table as I needed something super small to fit the room, but I wouldn't recommend this for anything more front-facing than that. As per other users' reviews, the table bit isn't actually made out of wood, but rather has been covered by a wood-looking plastic cover. The wholes for the screws don't always match, so you may not be able to assemble it perfectly well.

Ordered two of these tables. They look nice but the screws to fit the top on are too big and have gone right through which has ruined the top. So not very happy.

Very nice little table and ideal for what I wanted it for, to sit at the side of my settee.
