Great for beginners
It's easy to follow, and it has everything i need to know to pronounce words better.

Great resource but you need to practice on your own!
This was one of the main resources I used learn about the American accent. As an immigrant for 20+ years, I found it helpful and it taught me things I had never noticed, for example that Americans don't really pronounce the T at the end of words. The CD was also good for listening, but my main problem with it is that I can't get feedback. I can try to say it like the teacher but I never know if I said it right. I felt a lot of improvement when I got a pronunciation app on my phone where I could speak and instantly get graded (the app is called Bold Voice). Overall good book, but you need to practice and get feedback to really improve.
