Works as it should, much like a ChapStick for your outdoor canvas zippers. It adds a slippery coating to the plastic or metal zippers and helps them slide better to reduce tugging and tearing of canvas or denier fabrics. This has extended the life of many of our boating cushions and canvas covers and highly recommend.

Wow, shocked at how well it worked! Never knew old zippers needed lubrication. Applied to a north face ski snowboard jacket from 2010 and a guess coat from 2013 since both zippers no longer functioned at all. Brought them both back to life, good as new. I’ll be using this both to repair old zippers and as an every few years preventative maintenance on expensive ski gear going forward.

Except for it coming in two pieces, it works great and arrived quickly. It arrived in one of those 8x10 Amazon bubble envelopes, and the item itself was wrapped in plastic but just a tad too hard to undo the plastic wrap Around it that it very well could have broken in two opening it. I only suspect it could not have because maybe with a little more care, such a product being a wax crayon not wrapped in wood like a regular crayon, it could have been avoided. I only shave the star off for that reason but it works on the vintage bag I used it on. Now I just have to clean the tiny parts of the zipper pull since it is still showing some oxidation

This is a great product for anyone & any zippers, but especially for Brides!! I used this on my wedding day for my dress zipper and it helps zip through any fabric and details. My seamstress actually was the one who recommended! Easy to use. Great size & will last forever… could get melty in heat, so keep in a cooler spot.

It works. My zipper was so messed up. I didn’t know what to do. This is a great product and you can’t beat it.

I bought this to try to ease a sticky zipper on some riding boots. It is easy to apply and inexpensive, but it is not a great solution for zippers exposed to dirt. Even after carefully removing excess, it still attracted dirt (and manure, and twigs, and animal hair) and just made the sticky zipper worse. Most of the things I need good zippers for are outdoorsy -- riding boots, sleeping bags, tents, ski parkas, vests, etc. So I'm not sure when this is ever going to be useful for me. But given that it is quite inexpensive and easy to apply, it was worth trying before investing in a new zipper. I just probably will only try it on indoors-y type things going forward.

Product works but what a ridiculous price. Just use a candle, almost as good.

The Item was loose with no protection in a big box (with another item). Seemed to be very aged, not sure how good the quality is. I didn't bother to return ( I had to return the other item though as it was missing parts-another review!).

Perfect for door check lubricant.

Similar to candle wax and have put in to good use on jackets, hoodies , luggage aippers etc
