I'm not sure if I got one of the good sets, but I ordered mine in November 2019. I use them weekly in my league play and I absolutely LOVE them. I cannot recommend them enough. I love the sandpaper feel. I have a tendency to loosen my grip as I throw and the dart slips but I definitely don't have that issue with these. The weight is good and just overall a great set of darts.

Great darts
Good ergonomics. I can throw them accurately. The shark skin gives me good grip. It does feel like its getting less grippy after a months of use. Could just be dirt. I need to wash them.

Grip wears fast
The grip wore off right away, within 2 weeks. Still nice tungsten darts though.

Sand paper grip lasted a month
I've only had these darts for a month and a half and the grip is no longer like sand paper. My grips are completely smooth. Sorry I bought them.

Reasonably priced
Some bottleson darts are way over priced. These were great, free shipping, 90%, and throw good for me so far. The only thing is would like the groove was moved slightly closer to the point but will adapt. Thanks

Best grip I have tried
This is by far the best grip i've felt , balance is correct , and never have to find where to hold my dart , anywhere on the barrell seems great , the shafts may be aluminum they are the best I have had in a dart set , my back up darts will be this brand also
