Very good and even sound if installed correctly!
Without a doubt the most natural sounding system I tried except for microphones.Build quality is solid except for the Jack socket which is a bit flimsy, but for this price it's reasonable.Wires are too short if you want to connect to an inbuilt EQ like Belcat. I had to solder on an extension, but I had to clip of the socket anyway so no big deal.A warning. If you are not comfortable and proficient with delicate, precise and pretty awkward installation jobs on very expensive equipment, please hire a guy that is!Or install it on a cheap instrument first and if it worked out well and you like it, buy another pickup set.Tip 1. Don't glue them in place immediately. Use very thin double sided tape first and practice placing the pickups until you can do it effortlessly. This also allows you to listen to them and find the best spot.On my guitar I tried several times with tape and because my guitar is quite strong in bass, I decided to place that pickup two mm further away from the sweet spot than the other two.Tip 2. Once you are ready to use superglue, put only a tiny drop of it. I'd rather have them fall off because it's not enough than to not be able to remove them.Tip 3. Experiment with a brand new set of strings! If you do it with very old ones and they sound even, you might not be so happy when you install a new set later on.Tip.4 VERY IMPORTANTWhen it's time to drill a hole for the socket, (instead of ripping a hole), use a brand new wood drill bit.Don't use an old one and do not ever use a drill bit for metal! And go slow! Oh, and don't push! Let the drill slowly go through.Tip.5 put some cloth or towels under and over your instrument to avoid damaging it.Tip.6 The wires from the pickup to the socket are ridiculously short. If you plan to connect the pickups to a belcat like I did, or similar internal equalizer, be prepared to strip wires and solder on an extension.I already suggested to the owner of Journey Instruments to make the wires 10cm longer. That's it.A 500£ sound for only 50£.Even if you spend another 50£ on a professional luthier, it's still amazing value. Most natural sounding pick-ups on the market today.Good luck.

Pick up
I have this in my Taylor Eastman and D28 replaced the Anthem in the D 28 for this it's less intrusive light weight no under saddle elements killing tone and just as good or Walmer than the k n k which is 100 bucks more 😉 the secret is with these type of puck ups is a good pre amp do your tone shaping outside of the Guitar keeping the Guitar light and Natural not ramming tons of stuff inside adding weight etc 😉

Impressive and comparable to higher price solutions
Impressive sound and good volume. Sounds at least as good as my other guitar with more expensive LRBaggs under-saddle. Watch the installation video and go for it. Make sure you have a 12mm drill to reach the inside of the guitar once you have made the hole on the outside. Don’t use the normal wood drill bit for the outside or you risk damaging the wood and finish.

Great for the price and sounds good
I fitted this into a Guild acoustic, and I'm very impressed. Not as loud as the similar pickup by K&K but sounds good, especially if used with a pre-amp. A little fiddly to install so I recommend a dry run before using the superglue on the piezo pickups, but once you get used to how it's done it's fine. Also, be careful when drilling out the endpin hole to accommodate the combined jack connector and new endpin/strap button. I found the best way to install the new connector/endpin is to feed a jack lead through the newly drilled hole in the guitar (it should just fit) connect it to the pickup connector then gently pull through the endpin hole. Overall a great buy.

Works for some but didn't for me
I know that this product works very well for some people and I don't want to completely rubbish it. For me, it was very difficult to install, even with the template, and the Loctite Super Gel Glue was awkward and didn't immediately adhere as expected. Finally, I got the three pickup heads correctly installed and gave it a sound test. I found the sound quality to be muddy with uneven string volumes and totally unusable. The piezo heads were absolute hell to remove with a sharp razor. I narrowly avoided ruining the bridge panel of my guitar and doing myself a horrible hand injury with the razor as I was effectively working blind. Be aware that once installed, you will have one hell of a problem removing this pickup if you don't like the results. Think very carefully before permanently super gluing anything to your guitar bridge plate. In the end, I went with a passive "Fishman Neo D Humbucker" sound hole pickup which I installed permanently with an endpin jack and am extremely pleased with the results. At least a sound hole pickup can be easily removed any time you want to change it.
