They can be removed leaving no trace on the wall. To fit, remove the 2 screws from the fitting and angle the surround diagonally over the Light Switch. Make sure everything is straight and refit the 2 screws. In some cases, you may need longer screws (which are available from most good diy shops) to compensate for the additional thickness of the surround. Always be very careful not to touch the wires when fitting or if you feel a unsure, contact a local spet for help.
