Product Description A woman has to decide if she wants to stay with her husband after three decades together in this German drama with a comedic undertow. Inge (Ursula Werner) is an ordinary woman in her mid-60s who is married to Werner (Horst Rehberg). Inge and Werner have been together for over 30 years, and while their relationship is still a happy one, it's clear that in most respects their lives have fallen into a rut. Inge makes extra money mending clothes for others, and when she drops off a pair of trousers for one of her customers, Karl (Horst Westphal), he invites her in for a moment. Inge and Karl sense an immediate attraction to one another, and after a few minutes together they repair to the bedroom. Unwilling to lie to her husband, Inge confesses her infidelity to Werner, but at the same time she admits she wants to continue her affair with Karl. After all their years of marriage, Werner isn't interested in an open relationship, and their daughter, Petra (Steffi Kuehnert), is appalled by her mother's brazen behavior. Unable to have her cake and eat it too, Inge realizes she must choose between a man she's loved most of her adult life and one who has brought a new excitement to her autumn years. Fantastic movie. Heartbreaking and moving and eye opening. Fantastic for those wanting to expand their knowledge about and break down stereotypes about sexuality in older age.

Old folks need loving too.
A woman in her sixties gets bored with her husband and starts an extra-marital affair with a gentleman in his seventies. All are shown nude; not bad for their ages but still nude. Soft core. Fine acting keeps it from being a novelty.

Brilliant movie
In case you forgot that seniors have interior lives, see this movie. Acting, directing, editing got it all right.

Skip this one
Stupid film. Poor acting. Actors were much too old. The concept could have been reached easier with actors in their 50's and early 60's.Waste of money

un film che fa pensare
per le tematiche raccontate e interpretate dagli attori un film che fa pensare alla problematica della solitudine delle persone anziane.

Cloud 9
Intense, true to life. Action is slow, but captivating nonetheless. Pornogrophy for older people? Maybe, but makes you think, and gives hope for lenghty sensual relations...

Love isn't just a 'young thing'.
This is a very moving story. Superb and convincing actors, so authentic I almost felt like a fly on the wall at times. The sex scenes are tasteful and not at all contrived and the relationships are tender, genuine and ultimately, very recognizable. The film demonstrates how love is no respecter of age and the dilemma of human relationships is perpetual. Sadly, it also shows the painful face of love and the responsibility of choices. I would recommend it to anyone who has ever fallen in love with the right person at the wrong time. Or, indeed, anyone interested in basic humanity and our frailties and strengths. It is a joyful story, though not wholly so, for as in real life, it seems there's always a price to pay...
