nice to have
work well -- but one the seam split after several uses - used as hand warmer and for warm elsewhere too

Eco-friendly alternative & is multi-purpose
My hands and feet just stay cold and during the winter months, they stay so cold they hurt. I decided to buy these since they're reusable. The first time using each of them it was a little tough to invert the metal disc, but subsequent uses have been much easier. I use them in my gloves or pockets when out & about in cold weather, but I also use them as a replacement for a heating pad whenever my knees or neck starts hurting. They seem to stay hot for awhile and get REALLY warm at the beginning. These also make a great gift for: older adults with aches & pains, those who are exposed to the elements a lot (mechanics, bus drivers, fast food workers, etc.), and anyone who lives where it get really cold. Overall LOVE these!

They're fine. Kinda hard to start.
I have a bunch of a different brand of these, but that brand's no longer sold on Amazon. When I needed to stock up, these looked promising. They work fine, just as well as any of the others I have: the heat is good, it lasts as long as I'd expect something of this mass to be able to, and they've got a decently thick skin. My only complaint, and it's somewhat minor, is that it's pretty annoying to get these things started. Most of the "snap" style warmers actually tell you not to snap the metal piece floating around in there. Just rub it. Well, these? You definitely have to invert and unsnap the little coin inside. No other way to get it going. I wish it were a little bigger. The size is okay but these are a touch smaller than those I've had before, so they don't last quite as long or fit in the hand as well.

Super Cool
These are incredible little hand warmers! Used them during a football game and was warm for about an hour and a half keeping them in my pockets in 20-degree weather. They are also very easy to reset. Just tossed them in some boiling water (with a towel in the bottom of the pot to keep them from sticking) and let them sit for about 15 minutes. I have used them multiple times since the reset and they still get just as warm. This is a great buy for people who spend some time in the colder weather watching sports, hunting, golfing, etc. 100% recommend the Hot Snapz hand warmers.

Not Great/Long Lasting...
I used this to warm my hands on my way to school, the heat did last a while and was quite comforting (it got hot very fast, not enough to burn but very soothing on a cold day!) but I only really used the hand warmers a few times before they began to leak/feel flimsy. I saw a bit of red on the table and it was quite concerning to me. A few times I also boiled them for the correct amount of time as instructed on their website but they crystalized right after. Honestly amazing product but I'm disappointed I didn't get much use out of it, I can't reuse them anymore because I'm worried about them popping while they're being boiled.

Works Sorta - Activates Accidentally and Very Short Heat time
The good stuff first: -> They are reusable, boil them to reset -> They produce enough heat to put inside clothing or a pocket for your hands -> Kids like to watch it "activate",.. at least its fun the 1st few times -> not very expensive and the Bad: -> The heat only lasts about 30-45 minutes even if you kneed it as instructed -> The disk inside can be activated by a small impact, had 2 of these in glove box 2 weeks later they had both activated -> Boiling them each time is a pain, I don't consider this convenient (make sure they don't melt on the bottom of the pan) -> Too heavy for use in a hiking backpack because you would have to carry 10 at a time The product works as described with many limitations. In the case of hiking in colder weather with this product your lucky to see 40 minutes and the heat dissipates as time goes. I eventually opted for the zippo hand heater instead since it lasts about 6-12 hours even though you have to carry fluid. (also see true utility firestash) At best I would consider this a toy for a young child to play with but do not count on it in your car, when backpacking or in the bug out bags.
