Perfect replacement at an excellent price
Nice tight fit on my 2000 BMW Z3. The original was dried out and cracked from the UV rays. Be sure to use a little dish washing soap to help force it in to the opening after digging out the old seal. Otherwise you will have somewhat difficult time getting this new seal in. But, the end result is a nice tight fit that won't let moisture into the trunk area.

Impossible to install. Poor quality manufacturing material
The material that it is made of is not flexible at all. It would not fit into the grommet hole no matter what I did. I tried warming it up to make it more pliable, by soaking it in warm water. That did nothing. I tried using liquid soap to lubricate it. Didn’t work. I tried pulling it down into the grommet hole with pliers. Tried twisting it in. I Resorted to a rubber mallet at one point, trying to drive it into place. Nope. Gave up. Will have to look for a better product I guess.

Great replacement
Used on two Z3's; a 2001 and a 2002. These work very well, but a hint to installation... Remove the antenna from under the trim in the trunk to allow the fender hole to be clear. Lube the seal and then start one side of it. Once started, it can be rotated which will let the seal settle into the groove all the way around. 5 minute fix. Good deal.

It’s extremely hard rubber that splits
Unfortunately this must be URO older style rubber that was used, it’s closer to a plastic with very little give. It split the second the factory antenna “ball” fits in. Even with a lubricant it just was soft enough. And this was in 95° Maryland weather

It works
Hard to install, but worth the effort (if you still have the original motorized antenna!)

Perfect Fix For That Annoying Leak Into my e30 Trunk

Not full rubber material
This product works, but be careful when installing as this is more of a plastic rubber mix. Sharp pressure can leave dents in it. The interior hole is also larger than stock, so make sure the antenna has a big enough base.

Cracked the paint around the port
Hard plastic vs. rubber OEM part. Trying to force ended up cracking the paint around the antenna port. Be careful.

Fits but it's very hard
Fits my e36 but was a challenge to install as it's not very flexible, more like plastic than rubber

Not worth it
The grommet is way to hard to install, struggled 30 mins to install, don’t buy it!! waist your money! If you do good luck it might crack just like my did with out tools!

Garbage, don't waste your time and money, OEM one is cheaper and fits
Garbage, bought 2 of them, tried to fit them in any way possible but no luck, tried to put it in hot water, tried to heat it, removed the antenna, no way, if you try harder they just split in half. Bought an original one from bmw for less money $18 and I installed it in 5 mins. So don't waste your time and money on this.
