DO NOT BUY.I have never written a bad review but here you go- i ordered 40w them came 2 sizes larger then what they really are tried to wash in water only to shrink them in the dryer they broke below the belt line in the front while in my new washer with nothing that could possibly do this inside my washer.Long story-these shorts will fall very short from your expectations if there was a 0/10 thats what it would get i had to give it 1 star to even write this.Ive wrone southpole cloths all my life.When i see a counterfeit product im going to call it out.Southpole doesnt make cheap trash like this.Im sending them back as the thought of even having these near me makes my head & stomach hurt.Short story-Do yourself the favor and just dont.Why would i lie about something like this.I hope this helps you make the right decision.

I've read a lot of reviews on this item and wasn't sure. A lot of people confuse their opinions as facts. So I decided to try them out. I'm 5' 6" tall and weigh 165 lbs. The item I ordered has a 34" waist. They look fresh and feel comfortable. They are on the loose side, but I like baggy shorts. They allow plenty of air circulation to keep you cool. The material feels lightweight but durable. The overall style is pleasing to the eye. If you're of short stature, don't worry they fit and look fine. The colors are vibrant without being overwhelming. Cotton shrinks about 1 to2 percent. These will still fit after washing so you'll have these for a long time.

I'm a tall (6'5") skinny guy, so it's difficult finding shorts and especially pants that actually fit well. These fit good, they go to just above my knees which is about average for me. Super difficult trying to find longer ones. They are comfortable and lightweight. They fit as expected. I didn't use the belt that it came with, I had my own and those belts seem to always come loose. So far so good, can't talk yet on long term durability but I've worn them a lot the past few weeks and washed them and they still look good.

I bought two pairs of these just to check them out. They are inexpensive so I didn't expect the best material and they were lightweight (thin) as expected for the price. About a month later they still seemed okay so I went ahead and bought two more. Within a week of the new order the zipper on one of the that first pairs lost a few teeth so they were no longer usable. Within another 2-3 weeks two of the other pairs suffered the same fate. One is still hanging in there but the zippers are really really light weight on these things. Other cargo shorts of mine typically just die of old age due to material wear with lighter weight fabric usually not holding up as well. That's what I expected to happen with these. I've never had zippers just fall apart like what happened on 3 out of 4 of them. I won't be buying this brand again and will probably just stick with UnionBay.

I found a super low price option on this ($9.99). Maybe it was so low priced due to defects however. It wasn't worth trying to get the manufacturer to replace them because the defects didn't bother me too much and they look and feel great to wear. Definitely needed the belt that came with them though. Not just because I ordered a loose size, but also because almost all the buttons, including the one that keeps the pants closed, fell off after a few times wearing them. Besides that defect, the main pockets weren't sewn correctly. One pocket is perfect for a pistol, but not my hand. I don't have a pistol. The other pocket is too shallow with uneven stitching obviously half way up where the pocket was supposed to end, but my hand fits. Luckily, there's lots of other pockets in these pants. If I had paid $40 and got all these defects, I would certainly have returned them, but for the price, I'm OK with it. I just wish it had advertised that the price was low due to defects.

I placed an order for 4 pairs of cargo shorts from Amazon, all size 42 waist, all completely different brands made in completely different places. I'm 6'1" tall, weigh about 250 pounds, and have VERY fit, strong legs and a large-ish waist. The shorts I ordered were these Southpoles,  Dickies Men's Loose Fit Twill Cargo Short , Carhartt Men's Rugged Cargo Short Relaxed Fit , and  Riggs Ripstop Ranger Short .These Southpoles were the worst of the bunch. The biggest offender by far was the "banana hammock" effect on my crotch. I don't have big balls by any means, but these shorts hugged my crotch in a super uncomfortable way. My wife says it looked like my crotch was being swung side to side with every step. Bending over could get uncomfortable, and sitting down got me dangerously close to camel toe.In addition, the included belt is totally useless. And those straps at the legs are pointless and annoying. The material seemed flimsy (but cool and comfortable), and the buttons were annoyingly HUGE! Getting into the cargo pockets was an annoying chore.Maybe I'm just not a fashion shorts kinda-guy.

I bought some of these for my young adult sons and later bought two pair for my husband. He's worn those for 4 years and was in need of new ones. The fabric is light weight and washes really well. I don't place in the dryer as they may shrink a little. He likes that they don't have Velcro closures, but instead have buttons. The only thing that would make them perfect is if they had zipper closures on the side pockets instead of the buttons.

These shorts will grab some attention as it did for me. During the summer at the school district I work for, the dress code is different for when school is in session so after wearing these, I received a few comments on how bright red these are. The shorts do standout well, in a good wayI've owned these shorts for a year so as far as premature rips, tears, loose stitches, there are none. They still look new. Of course, I don't abuse it eitherI ordered the waist size 38 and the fitment is accurate, however, I ordered on 38 on due to wanting some extra room when I kneel or sit down so I do use the belt every time I wear this. I could have also bought size 34 - 36, but probably wouldn't be as comfortable overall

Este short tipo bermuda es un producto excelente en realidad, si lo que buscas es una prenda para ir a la playa o pasar un día caluroso lo más ligero posible. La tela no se siente tan resistente, pero es cómoda y permite movilidad sin nigún problema. Me quedó ligeramente largo, un poco abajo de la rodilla, pero debo decir que no soy precisamente alto (1.72m) por lo que probablemente te quede mejor si eres más alto de eso. En cintura me quedó un poco flojo, pero eso lo pedí deliberadamente ya que soy talla 32 de pantalón pero buscaba una prenda más holgada y los pedí 34. El cinturón de la imagen viene incluido, cosa que no esperaba, y aunque no es el mejor ni el más cómodo de abrochar, hace juego con las bermudas y se puede quitar si así se desea para poner uno de tu agrado o dejarlo sin cinturón. El producto llegó en excelentes condiciones y con un buen empaquetado y el precio fue simplemente el adecuado por un producto de estas caracteristicas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

El short tiene una medida estándar en México, puedes usar la talla de tu pantalón como referencia y te quedará perfecto, su corte no es ajustado y es bastante cómodo. A pesar de ser una prenda larga, no se siente pesado y es muy fresco. El problema es la tela, es un imán de pelusa. Yo lo utilizó para andar en mi casa pero no saldría con él a la calle pues da un aspecto sucio. En las instrucciones de lavado debería de indicar algún tipo de cuidado adicional porque las seguí al pie de la letra y terminé con una prenda que parece fabricada en velcro. Aún cuando le pasas un rodillo para atrapar pelusa no luce bien. Es una lástima, realmente me gusta mucho como me queda.

Si estás como se menciona biene un poco más delgada la tela pero creo que sí reciste aver cuánto dura espero que un buen es mejor los de unionbay está más gruesa su tela y bien un poco más recistentes gracias Amazon México Buenos precios y de buena calidad sobre las wipe óptica abrieron mi paquete no se me olvida ojaldras robaron producto aver si ponen más cámaras de seguridad y vigilan más gracias saludos.

Hell yeah, long pair of shorts that dont ride up. Thank god. Although the zipper does get stuck just a little bit, but that could just be this pair, not much of a problem. The real problem is that they feel a little....flimsy? I already put a hole in them just from tugging and pulling, nothing major, but still i was disappointing that the material let go so quickly just after a couple months. Heres to hoping no other areas start to rip or let go.

It's difficult to find cargo shorts that are both high quality and fit past the knee.These are real nice looking shorts, and they're long! Don't really like any of the other styles apart from the black/grey I ordered, but this was a great buy. 6 pockets, thick material, fit as expected, and the included belt allows you to tighten them if you need to. The only knock I can give is that the two standard side pockets (not the other flap pockets on the bottom of the legs and on each side of the seat) are very thin and I wouldn't trust certain valuables like keys in them. The other four are all really thick though, so you have more than enough space for whatever.5/5. Might get another pair.
