"Budget" skates with unexpected issues
Edit: It's becoming clearer to me that these skates are not aligned. My old pair was not this much work and rolled smoother... Takes so much fine-tuning to try to get all wheels to spin properly but then it doesn't even matter, because the tracks are not centered or aligned correctly on the skate. The bearings aren't good either, which was made more apparent when I went to change the wheels. Just 20 minutes on these feels like 2 hours because you're trying to fight the skates the whole time. I'm out of the return window now so I'm going to try to make it work. Got different wheels, maybe will need new bearings, too. Investing more than I had hoped initially.Original: Overall, I do enjoy the skates and it wasn't too much of a punch to the wallet. I'm still getting used to them and have some initial observations. There is no included hardware needed if you want to take the right brake off, as the length of the screw used to hold the brake in place is longer than the rest of the wheels. This really should be included--I had to order online from a third party and file it down to size in order to skate without the brake (you can also order by mail from Roller Derby, but there's S&H to get just a single screw). The frame/wheel alignment on both skates points slightly outward and isn't easily adjustable as you would find on more expensive skates. I get more supination on the right versus the left (the body of the skate tilting inward). The result is substantially more wear on the inside of the wheels than normal, but I plan on getting harder outdoor wheels to make things easier on me. I also have to wear thick socks as my feet are narrow and move around a lot without padding that extra space.I will say that the skates are attractive and don't feel cheap--I just wish they suited my feet better and that the wheel frames weren't slanted out as much as they are. I'm not an inline skate expert, perhaps it's desireable to some to have the frames slightly off-center towards the front, but with my narrow feet it's not exactly my preference as I tend to supinate in the skates, especially if my feet slide within the boot. With better socks and wheels, I might be able to ignore the issue as I don't know how to realign these frames easily (if at all).

Weak frames to an adult. & boots have uneven insoles
1, Weak frame. It was made from 2.5MM. Alum. material, bent, not extruded. It seemed too weak to support a man's weight, and squeaked all the time. Many reviewers said the frame leaning toward inside of the left foot. That could be the result of crossover turning counterclockwisely. The left outer edge of the back leg supported the body weight, and pushed forward. That crossover crooked the left frame. My 2 cents. It was easy to align the frame, loosed all wheels, pushed it back by hands, then tightened all bolts. But it won't stay upright.2, The plastic bottom and soft boot were riveted together. Each rivet was a dip on the insole. Some rivets went deeper than others. My big toes were sitting right above the deepest potholes, with joints on bumps. I had to curl my big toes, to touch the insole for balance. My big toes got sour quickly for the uneven insole.3, The new soft boots felt narrower than my regular-width hiking boots. It could get better after break-in.4, Wheels came too tight on delivery. After checking all bolts, wheels ran smoothly.5, bearings ran smoothly, felt good. But I got a broken bearing. That wheel made clicking noise by itself. I fixed it, with a good bearing .6, the rear wheel and the brake pad were held together by a long bolt. To remove the brake pad, washers or a new bolt were needed, but not included.

These are awesome
I was looking for a cheap and good pair-recognizable brand, good look, under $100. I scored these from “additional sellers” just because the box was damaged. I saved about $40, and it was the best idea ever. They arrived in original interior shipping and were brand new! So stoked. Let’s go skating!

Would have been more stars BUT.
Would have been more stars BUT.I bought these skates hoping to remove the brake pad, beware you cannot, the skates come with no spare wheel bolts, the bolt used on the rear wheel and pad bracket is longer and cannot be used on the wheel. My grandson skates from Kate's skates came with a spare wheel bolt and 2 Allen Keyes these Roller Derbyshire skates Nothing, plus most of the bolts needed to be tightened.Nice skates customer care lacking in thought. Gotta go now, about to search Amazon for spare wheel bolts. Hope this helps, Mr MP.s problem getting wheel bolts to suit, most wheel bolts on Amazon are 3cm long or bigger, Roller Derby measure 2.7cm, shall cut one down to size and hope the female thread is long enough. Bye bye

If you order from the UK they send you a UK size not US
The skate itself is solid and a really nice skate however the answered question about them being in US sizes isn't right as I ordered a size bigger to compensate which was a US 11 and got a UK 11/US 12 so they are too big for me. I hope I can get a replacement soon.

Buena calidad

Full Review (honest with pictures)
context: axel is the piece fixing the wheels bearing to the frame1. The frame is irregular (maybe for thicker wheels) and to compensate for this they use 29mm axels (normal is 31mm), this flexes the frame causing screws to loosen.2. Uses 29mm axel due to the wierd frame, they are crappy and soft so the heads where completly gone after a couple uses.Due to irregular 29mm axels i couldnt find a replacement since smallest are 31mm. (i tried 31mm wheels wont stay in place)3. wheels are made of a crappy, wierd material... rubber? basicly they get worn off after 5 or less skating sessions making it very slippery.---I found out first that the wheels where completly worn off, so i bought new 1s for £46, then i realised the axels cant be taken off without litturaly destroying them so i spent an addional £13. Then realised they are 2mm to big due to the frame being irregular.Summary i wasted £159 while i could of used that to buy a decent pair. Please use something like rollerblade.com to shop for rollerblades
