Excellent clamps
The Bessey KliKlamp is an excellent clamp. It offers a great combination of deep throat capacity, high clamping strength, compact size, and light weight. I haven't had them long enough to know how well they'll wear, but they seem to have the same high quality that all Bessey clamps have. It's important to realize that, like any other piece of equipment, these clamps have limitations, and you have to live within those limits. In the case of clamps, that's why there are so many types and sizes; good results depend on selecting the right clamp for the particular job at hand. The KliKlamp falls into the category of quick, one-handed, convenience clamps. They are NOT heavy-duty production clamps. I've found them incredibly handy for quickly securing a workpiece to a bench, holding small pieces for gluing, etc. They really stand out for clamping down cutting guides for circular saws and routers. Their low profile prevents them from interfering with the tool as you go along the guide.I think the KliKlamp is well worth the money. They're certainly not cheap, but the do several jobs better than anything else I have. I'm happy with the value, and I'd buy them again if I had it to do over.

Clamp takes a hit for the team
Four of these Bessey 12" KLIKlamps share my workspace with about a hundred other clamps of many types. It's interesting to see which clamps are grabbed first, over and over. THIS clamp. It's fair to call this "medium powerful" since it is very light and part of the ratchet mechanism is plastic. At the same time it is MAXIMUM useful, SUPER adaptable.A few days ago I was putting something together with a framing nailer. The four KLIKlamps were on the job. Good thing, because one of those 16d nails went in straight and came out sideways. A KLIKlamp was in the danger zone and took a direct hit. Shattered some plastic. (Thanks, safety glasses.) So darn, now I'm down one clamp. But there was no blood on the project, no trip to the ER, etc. I took a few pics. It was an honorable death for a clamp. It's easy to say that plastic doesn't belong on the clamp rack. Give me steel, right? Aluminum and wood, too. But that sideways nail would have had a different effect on other materials: driven right into a wooden clamp, or badly gouged aluminum. Who's to say what kind of ricochet would have happened with steel. So maybe plastic DOES have a place on the clamp rack.I'll be replacing that Bessey KLIKlamp this week. Maybe I'll get a few more, too. You never have too many clamps.

These clamps work very well and easily but don't have near the clamping force that I need most of the time.

Clamping Pressure is good. I was expecting a light duty clamp
Works well but, might not last due to the plastic cam teeth and handles. Time and use will tell the story. Clamping Pressure is good. I was expecting a light duty clamp. But expected a little higher quality from Bessey. I could almost give it 4 stars, but not until gaining some usage experience. This is not a five star clamp.Edit: Well, I've changed my mind. These are 5 Star clamps. They are lasting and lasting, I have made made many projects with these, After over a year, with heavy use, these are unbelievably good clamps.

Feel the pressure
Wow this thing is lightweight...it is perfect for slapping stuff together when you just can't be bothered with turning a screw. I did take off one star because the mechanism is made out of plastic, and I suspect that with heavy daily use it won't be long for the world. Having said that, don't try holding down plate steel with it when you're welding up train cars and it will probably go the distance using it for what it was intended...down and dirty quick (KliK) clamping.

Low quality
I am a big Bessy fan of clamps. These clamps feel like they come from H F.It is very lightweight and has a tinny feel. The moveable part of the clamp does not slide smoothly. This is one item I might get at H F instead of Bessy, considering the cost.

Well engineered clamps....
I don't usually buy pricey, brand name clamps, but when I do its because they serve a particular function I need. These are very fast to deploy and remove, and light in weight due to the magnesium alloy construction. They are great for clamping sheet goods while breaking down into smaller pieces. They are similar in use to the Festool quick clamp. but without the need to work through a hole, or the extravagant price. Pick up a few of these and don't look back.

Much lower quality than expected.
I ordered four of these and returned them the same day I received them. The ratchet handle is plastic and the clamp metal is softer than should be and therefore flexes. Trying to clamp more securely simple bends the metal and doesn't clamp the wood any tighter. As you squeeze the plastic handle, it doesn't resist much for that reason. These are no where near the quality of the Jorgensen and WoodRiver gear clamps I currently have.
