Is it possible to slide the arm from the top to the bottom of the pole (or vice versa) without removing the arm from the pole?

How easy is it to move the arm up/down and is it ok to do this several times a day? I'm doing this instead of a sit/stand desk.

Not easy at all and the weight of the monitor makes it harder, to adjust this I normally have to take the monitor off completly and then you can losen the arm and move it.

Will this hold a 40" TV that weighs 6.5 kg,I will be drilling through the table and using the included grommet & screw bolt and not the clamp?

Could this be clamped upside down so that it hangs from the ceiling? Or would the pole fall out of the mount? Thanks a lot

The pole wouldn’t fall out but there are probably better solutions if you any to ceiling mount. Also you’d need to clamp to something solid
