Firstly it's not a complete ball, it has a flat base with 3 rubber stubs to raise it and allow the charger cable access, which is fine. The problem arises if you intend to keep it plugged in, the charger connection is slightly larger than the clearance space which makes it wobble a little. There is also only a USB cable connection to power it, so you might want to pick up a USB to mains adapter if you intend on keeping it plugged in. The description says that you you can tap the light body to change colour, this seems not to be case (EDIT: This feature started working all of a sudden a few days later and simply requires a firm tap. I'm unsure why it didn't work on day 1). The light itself is quite light but seems durable, the app is easy enough to use and you can control the lighting colour and intensity by voice command.It's a nice little light, I just wish the construction was a little better thought out so the charger wouldn't make it wobble. But other than that I'm quite happy with the purchase.

It is very responsive with Amazon.It comes with an l-shaped plug with a usb plug on the other end. This is great as it means any new charger will work.You will notice that I have personally changed the name to "mood light" I did this after I connected to Alexa.I would note that the recommended "Smart Life" app didn't work for me at all so I used the TUYA app instead. It quickly found the light and the installation was very quick and easy.As you can see from the video, it works very well with Alexa. Again, hooking up with Alexa was incredibly easy. It all works seemlessly.

On the face of it these were the perfect solution to two kids who like a night light.Pro:Alexa integration is flawlessVisually the design is attractive - a soft frosted globe with good colour definitionOption to have it placed anywhere without a cable is a good one but not sure on the battery life due to issues below...Cons:The colour chosen isn't sticky enough. You can select low brightness, warm light go out of the room and it's changed back to a primary colour but this seems to be because...... the touch sensitivity is way too high! They change colour in response to a tap on the globe but in real terms they will change if you walk past them, change if you drop a book half a room away, change if you make any sort of loud noise anywhere in the same room. I'm pretty sure the kids snoring also causes them to change colour! The constant colour changing is also draining battery life so can't comment on the time it will last between charges.Overall this should be an excellent product but it's just not. Too sensitive and need a better degree of control via their app.Disappointed.

What a fun item and brilliant value too. Runs off WiFi and youneed go download an app to your smartphone. Very easy to use, lights up the whole room and instructions are super easy. So glad I bought this, high standard and lots of fun, very relaxing too. Really happy and recommend.

Very dissatisfied with this. Could not connect with Smart App, but had to use the Tuya App. Not easy to set up. Okay for 5 minutes, then a nightmare after that. Kept going out all the time. Had to recharge several times, but the light kept cutting out. I would not recommend this light.

This doesn’t work at all in my house. It is incompatible with my WiFi which I found odd as its brand new BT fibre broad band. I spent days trying to set it up as did a couple of my tech savvy friends. Given up and it’s still in the box

One tiny page of instructions which didn’t tell you where to find the software and so I couldn’t make it work at all with my smart home or independently as it has no brand. Very disappointed.
