No Joke!
These things are the truth!! So glad I thought of this as an option to hanging my little ones towel at his height level and to put in the shower to hang cloths and sponges on. The adhesion is serious so be careful when placing it that, that's where you want it to be! I am also using them on tile only so I'm sure that's part of the reason I got such a good stick.

Not strong.
These are lovely, but do not hold. We placed one on the back of the door (smooth surface) and hung a robe on it. In less than 2 weeks, the bracket fell off the wall.

Holds a lot of weight
Works great as a bath towel hook in the shower. Holds a lot of weight.

I would not buy these again
They appear to affix to surface but when something is added to hooks, I find the hooks and items on the floor. What is shocking is that I have never added something very heavy to the hook. When you reinstall the hooks they lock back on the wall and appear to be locked to the surface. Not sure if there is an air pocket which causes the hook to break away from the surface. Definitely would not buy again.
