Sweat Shaper Athletic Tank

The amount of sweat, you sweat out is insane. I wear this for normal workout and it helps induce sweat and I always feel like I am getting a better workout. The material is tight but stretchy so it works great. It is very thick so when you are working out it makes everything a little tighter. The only issue is that the armpits are kind of high so it can rub and cause a little bit of irritation. It creates so much sweat though that it literally drains down the suit and can cause a lot of sweat drip on the pants. When you take it off it, and you, are covered in sweat. It looks great and can be used as an external shirt if you want.

I love this tank. It will help you work up a sweat which just helps motivate you to keep going with your workouts. Use the size chart when ordering. Fits perfectly and it’s comfortable. Easy to wash.

Sizing: I am 5’ 4” and 153 lbs. My waist is 30”, the widest part of my hips measure 41”. That being said, I went with the waist measurement that was listed and bought myself a S/M. It fits like a glove. Putting it on: Yes, it’s hard to put on. I’ve figured out the best way to get it on is to pretend you’re a toddler and your mom is getting you dressed. Put your head completely in first. Then your right arm. Then get as much as your left arm in as you can before using your right hand to grab your left wrist and pull. Good luck. Getting it off is a whole new challenge. Does it work: This isn’t a miracle weight loss tool. It’s designed to make you sweat, and it definitely does it’s job. On an intellectual level: it makes you sweat. It heats up your core, which in turn has your heart working harder. Be sure your endurance is ready for this because it’ll definitely make your workouts tougher. Are you burning more calories? Probably. Are you burning fat? Well, yeah, if you’re working out. But the shirt is mainly helping you lose water weight. On an emotional level: Seeing all that sweat just leaking off the clothes and your body is disgusting. But also really satisfying after a good workout? I took a before and after photo of myself and no one is going to see a difference. BUT I saw the slightest difference and in the end, that was such a confidence booster and isn’t that really what it’s all about? The next morning when I stepped on the scale, there was a larger than normal dip. I know it’s water weight and it’ll just come back, but like I said. Confidence booster.

The Sweat Shaper Waist Trimmer delivers in terms of producing belly sweat. It drips with sweat when I take it off. My belly has never sweated like it does with this thing. I wear it in conjunction with the Sports Research Sweet Sweat Workout Enhancer Roll-On Gel Stick (coconut scent). My only complaint is that it is loooong for me. I’m only 5’2”, so that means I don’t have a lot of space between all the lady bits. In fact, it covers the lower lady bits. If I wear it over the undies, it pulls them up, creating the dreaded cameltoe. If I wear it under the undies, my undies end up going as far south as possible with leggings on. And I’m not about to go commando (I’m a woman of a certain age, and sneezing or coughing makes things happen 🫣 ). Also, no matter if I wear it over or under my undies, you can definitely see the seam across your butt if you wear leggings. I’m going to keep it and think about how I can make this work for me. I haven’t had it long enough to say whether or not it’s taking inches off. I will update this review over time. I think if you’re a little taller, this is perfect, and you should try it.

UPDATE/EDIT: I have had this for less than a week, and the seams are coming undone. Granted, the internal material is an odd one, but it should have lasted longer. I'll be attempting to stitch it with stronger thread. Wish me luck. I was extremely skeptical of this product. I have tried others in the past that like to ride up, and make me feel extremely uncomfortable all day. But this, this is fantastic. It has the silicone liner around the edges to keep it in place, and boy does it work! It also helps produce sweat as it should, but it's not like other ones that make you cold once you start sweating because you're essentially just sitting in your excessive sweat; It has some light insulation to it. Ladies, if you are curvy, and generally wear an XL, get the XXL-XXXL. I say this because the first time you wear it, it will be hard to get on and adjusted to your body, and not only that but it's not meant to be loose on your body- you want it to fit like a glove. If i would have ordered the XL, I would have had a hard time breathing for sure. But once you have "broken it in", the times after that are smooth getting it reacquainted with your curves. I hand-washed mine in cold water after the first day, and it fit so much better the next day. And just trust me when I say PUT THIS ON BEFORE YOUR UNDERWEAR. You will see why I say that once you put it on- the bottom will go over your pooch and end up sitting at your panty-line. Another thing to add: When I took this off, my abs hurt like I had just done 100 curl-ups, but all I did was work my manager job running around my store. Overall, I am very impressed and will be getting another one very soon. If you're skeptical, I get it. BUT you won't be disappointed if you give it a chance!

Works great. Very snug to get on but keeps my tummy compressed.

Working great so far. Band is nice & think, stays in place. Definitely helps me swear more. Don’t like the way the top part going under/over breast fits, lines show through shirt.

War für mich etwas zu groß, aber das liegt daran, dass ich eine große Oberweite und einen dünnen Bauch habe. Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich ordentlich in dem Ding geschwitzt. Super, würde es auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.

I decided to wear it under a loose waist trainer and all I did was some short exercises and danced most of the night for fun and OMG when I went to take it off it was like a flush of water pouring out I was really shocked. I really now wish I got a smaller size. It really does what it says just make sure you build up the right temperature on your body. LOVE IT!
