i gave it 5 stars because of the fun and joy it brought my 3 and 4 yr old grandsons. it was amazing in that sense. however the straps are not quite long enough on the breast plate to fit over a 3yr old or a small 4yr old (ours is tall and a little chunky) the helmet was split maybe before shipped maybe during shipping. the saving grace is most thought it was supposed to be for effect. i put it away after i purchased it for birthday gift so no returning it by time i realized it was broken. the kids love it and thats all that matters but i do think it should be better quality for the amount of money spent on it.

Bought this for my grandson and he loves it. Swords and axe could be a little sturdier though, because little boys will put it through its paces. Overall, a great buy

The arm pieces have little plastic straps that go around the arms and fasten. They are on the small side for my 3 yr old and he says they are tight on his upper arm and hurt. My bigger dislike is the little straps come undone very easily and can also become lost because they fall off easily as well. The shields and swords. The helmet is large so we put a beanie underneath. All in all, the arm pieces are small and the helmet to big... not consistent sizing.

I ordered this for my son’s Halloween costume, and wanted it for imaginary play as well. The 1st product/box, the helmet was cracked when it arrived. I was sent a replacement. The 2nd product/box, the helmet was warped. I returned that one as well. It seems like very cheap plastic that could barely be shipped w/o damage. And it seemed like it would break easily if stepped on by accident. Not a quality product at all. I want something that would at least last a year, not a few days. And it would have been pretty uncomfortable for my son to wear. He’s only a toddler. I think he would have tolerated it over sweats, but it was kind of sharp and uncomfortable even to me and my husband when we put it on our skin. Also, it came with cheap plastic straps/bands to put each piece on. They came out/off of each piece too easily, and were too hard to use to attach.

This set is cute and did the job for what I needed. I only gave three stars because it is made of really cheap plastic and I had a hard time figuring out how to get the straps to work on the breastplate and shield. I ended up using tape to help me out. Regardless, for a young kid using it once, probably worth it. I am actually using it in a classroom setting and so I’ve used it several times and it’s held up great. But kids aren’t playing with it, they’re just putting them on.

I bought this to replace an older set we own. The sword in the older kit finally broke after years of play, but the blade section was made of sturdier, thicker plastic than this one. The sword and dagger in this kit are made of thin, flimsy plastic and the sword arrived significantly bent. We were also missing one of the straps for the gauntlets. I will be returning this and searching for a better set that might actually last.

We are teaching preschoolers in Bible class about the Armor of God. This costume set is a wonderful idea. The children will be able to take turns as they "try on the armor." My son had a similar playset years ago, and it stood the test of time. Looking forward to using it this time too!

My son picked this out for his birthday and he absolutely loved it and it came right on time. The sword was bent that was our only issue but we put something heavy on it and it straightened right out. Good quality stuff.
