Perfect funnel
Pan is perfect for a small funnel type cake. I used 2 cups of batter and baked at 325 deg for 45 min. It was perfect. I followed the instructions on the Daddio website.

Great!
It worked great for the volcano cake my daughter requester for her birthday. I got the smaller size and baked it 2hrs on 190° b/c I saw one of the reviews but then I got tired of waiting and kicked it up to 350°f for another 35min. It was a hit!

Pan Size
The shape is perfect, but it does not fit a regular Barbie doll. I had to put a bottom layer cake under it to make it long enough. Without a bottom layer, the cake only came up to Barbie’s knees.

Great for Doll Skirts
I love this pan for making doll skirt cakes. It is the perfect size! You do need to cook the batter longer than a standard cake, but that's not an issue if you keep an eye on it. Be sure to use the heating core, too! That will make life a lot better. :)

It has a cool pyramid type shape
The bottom bakes faster than the top ... Yes that is obvious by looking at it. But you'll have to come up with a plan to keep the bottom from turning into a hard crust.. Maybe a water bath. It has a cool pyramid type shape.. Which u can let cool and using a bread knife carve out the rough parts to form a different shape. I'm undecided about this one it's nice to have a pan that can bake up a circle or pyramid shape. Overall It's a cute small pan. Thick metal construction and doesn't get brown after baking... As an experiment I baked half a cake recipe. Check the pic to see what that looked like

Remember to buy the cake core!
Your cake won't cook right without the heat core. If you have that, perfection! Barbie cake was beautiful!

Would not bake evenly all the way through
I placed a heating rod in the cake to ensure proper baking, but it did not bake evenly at all. I tried several times and got the same result each time. Better off using several small pans and sculpting the baked cakes rather than wasting money on this pan as I did. Not worth the money. I’d like a refund.
